The Name "Tranquility" Fits

  • 5 of 5

Our family had a reunion at this wonderful home. The view from the back porch was absolutely beautiful (great for family photos) . The stream that runs behind the house provided a sound that was a relief from the sounds of the city. Open the windows and the sound of rushing water fills the house. If you like to fish, the stream is full of them. The homes location away from Estes Park gave a more peaceful atmosphere. The drive to Estes Park and the Rocky Mountain National Forest was not that far. We had eight adults, three children and one infant. Jeanie Brinkley provided a crib for the baby and was always helpful with any questions we had. We were so pleased with our week at this home and the surrounding sights available. The Snyder Families

Our week stay

  • 3 of 5

Kitchen not well organized, cooking utensils stuffed everywhere. Glass ware needs to be updated. Plastic glasses had chips on the rims.

The owner was on the premises too much tending her flowers for over 2 hours at at time. We then needed to ask for privacy.

The house over all was great for the grand children with a cute bedroom stocked with games and books. Roomy enough for all of us. Six adults and 4 children. Nice hot tub and a fire pit that had a wood supply for us to use.

Owner's Response: I really do appreciate the feed back. Thank You! I have replaced the glasses in question. I am glad to work around the schedule of any of my guest when communicated with. At this altitude flowers in pots dry out very quickly and if not attended to will not be beautiful for the next guest. I also had a bug infestation at that time requiring deadheading a large plant and spraying it. If I had been ask or alerted that I was bothering their sense of privacy I would have just removed the plant for treatment. That was the only day that I was there for a extended period of time. It is actually the guests that disorganize the kitchen. Perhaps I would have had more time had a early check in not been requested and given? However, I will take more time during the turn round to reorganize the kitchen. For future guest just communicate with me when you would like your Hot Tub checked and the flowers cared for. We hate to disappoint anyone over anything! Our goal is for our guest to have the most carefree and memorable vacation they have ever had. Sorry we missed the mark this time!

Nicest people friendly cabin near Estes Park

  • 5 of 5

This beautiful cabin is located near Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. It is a great place for couples or families to gather. There are many places to sit outdoors , hike around the area, and everything needed to enjoy the time in the cabin with the kids.

Going to sleep was so pleasant as we heard the water running in the river from our bedroom window.

We recommend this place 100%. We want to go back.

What more could we have asked for? View is incredible and the house is everything you could ask for in a fun vacation home. Jeanie and Charlie have looked after every detail....and their love and pride shows in their home. Kitchen is stocked to the max, hot tub was fantastic, house is comfortable, deck is huge and comfortable, and access to river + views make it everything you could want. Was the perfect location for us, to prepare for our daughter's wedding at Wild Basin Lodge. Thanks SO much, for a fabulous week!

The view from the patio was breathtaking

  • 5 of 5

Wonderful place to stay with an enormous patio and breathtaking views. The owners were readily available. The kitchen was fully stocked and the house was so well taken care of. We loved our stay here and were able to have 3 families with kids stay here enjoyably. We loved the beautiful gardens that the owners maintained so well. We would most definitely return to this house.
