Small cabin, close to Mainstreet, but very quiet

  • 4 of 5

My husband and 2 boys stayed in the cabin for a week and we enjoyed our stay. It had off the road parking for our ATV and trailer and it was convenient for any shopping or eating on Main street we wanted. The neighborhood is quiet and we enjoyed playing horseshoes in the evenings.

We did find a challenge in the metal spiral staircase with sock feet as we all slept upstairs and the bathroom was downstairs. Careful footing was a must. The only other thing was that there is lots of cute furniture in the small cabin, with 2 little boys that was a challenge as well. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and none of the challenges would make us stay away, we will just be better prepared next time. The cabin was furnished with many pots/pans and necessary dishes with a dishwasher. That made clean up quick and easy.

Great spot for a weekend getaway

  • 5 of 5

I stayed at the cabin during the Frisco BBQ Fest (June 19-21) and was within walking distance of all the fun on Main Street. The cabin is clean, quaint, and the hot-tub is a definite bonus. Highly recommended!

Owner's Response: Thanks for taking the time to post a positive review in this busy world. We appreciate it very much. So many people love this Cabin because of it's privacy and location. It's in the Mtns, yet in-town. We are glad you enjoyed the hot tub also. It's a must- year round!! Please come visit again.

Excellent and cozy little cabin to come back to after long, cold days in the woods.

  • 4 of 5

My girlfriend and I recently rented out this cabin for elk and deer hunting season. There was plenty of space for the two of us and the unit was warm and cozy. The private hot tub on the rear deck was also a huge plus and we made a point to use it almost every night that we were there. Mike and Amy are great people and were very hospitable to us during hour stay. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the advertised free internet did not work during the course of our stay. This turned out to be only a minor inconvenience as neither one of us really wanted too or felt the need to stay connected with our jobs back in the real world. If you will definitely be needing internet, it might be a good idea to double check with them prior to your booking/arrival. Overall, a great little cabin in the heart of Frisco that we will certainly be looking to re-rent next year.

Owner's Response: These were wonderful guests. We consider you our Fall hunter friends. Thanks for the positive comments. We were very sorry about the internet problem. We finally solved it. When we added Direct TV to the adjoining house, they cut the Comcast Internet Cable to both properties. I was on the phone to Comcast over 4 days trying to figure out why our internet, which had been great, all of a sudden quit working. Everything is working fine now. It makes us owners happy when guests enjoy our property. Not many stand alone small properties have a private hot tub.We are always trying to make it more cozy and comfortable.
