Cory lake rental

  • 5 of 5

This rental was absolutely wonderful. In fact we loved it so much we extended our stay for four more weeks this summer. The lake is just beautiful! The sand bar is so great for everyone. There are two camps on the lake so it's not filled up with all houses. Great marina and convenient store right there. I met the owner today and she was lovely! We also had family and friends up and they loved it! Well maintained and just so relaxing and fun !

Great Place to relax and watch the stars!!!

  • 5 of 5

We traveled to Corey Lake on Memorial Day weekend from Grosse Pointe and the traffic that way is a welcome change from the herds going north up 75. The cottage was clean and comfortable for relaxing. We didn't bring a boat but relaxed on the dock at night to look at the stars which we don't see much of at home. During the day the pontoon boat parade was our entertainment along with the butterflies and multiple hawks we saw while relaxing in deck chairs. the dogs stayed in the lake and were exhausted at the end of every night from swimming. There is a Meijer close by for supplies and an Applebee's. The pizza place( I cant remember the name) is amazing and has wonderful ice cream. We would definitely rent from here again and recommend it to others.

Beautiful and Peaceful

  • 5 of 5

The location of the cottage is perfect. Lakefront property is beautiful and peaceful. There are all the amenities of home away from home, and close enough to town if you need anything. I highly recommend this cottage rental.

We shall return

  • 5 of 5

Our family rented all three cottages. We extended invites to all family members and their children. We had a ball! TheYoung ones loved the sandy area and the shallow water where they could play. The older kids enjoyed tubing and skiing for hours at a time. Everyone enjoyed swimming, kayaking, and paddle boarding. We enjoyed the grill and the fire pits. Having all three cottages gave each group their own space in to he morning and late evening. This was appreciated as we didn't feel like we were crowded all together. It was a week of family fun like we hadn't had for quite some time. By the way, the local pizza is pretty darn good. We all agreed we should do it again next year and we will. We did have a couple of minor problems with the lighting. They came right away and solved the problem. One item you might want to take is a reading light for the late night readers.

decent place, pics are correct

  • 4 of 5

we had a really good time, the fishing slow, the bass were small, except for one, we didn't fish for gills. the lake was big, but watch out for the sand bars, ran the boat almost aground twice. only 2 fire pits for the 3 units. an amish couple to the west of us, super nice people. their siblings showed up the following friday. took their kids out tubing, they had a blast, it was good for my soul. lit up a few lanterns and sent them on their way. the smores' delicious. bring plenty of firewood, kindling is scarce too. we had a great time, but be aware the pull out sofa is what it is. we brought a blow up mattress that worked in the living room. the nights were quiet and calm. a nice spot to visit, just dont expect the hilton and bring a grille with you if you can. 1 grill / 3 units. phone's dont work well, so be aware of that too, no internet either, but the owners fixed that for us. there may be a charge for a wifi hotspot in the future. some want it, some dont. we had a good time, docks were fine to park a boat. nice view too. little 1 lane road to the premise very quiet, i really liked that. the food at the cafe we walked to was decent too. ok, that's enough. kinda rustic, nice places, a little tight, but you can have fun if you choose to enjoy your time with your family. what's really important anyway, life is short. we all know that.
