Quaint, quiet, clean, and close to downtown
Very nice little bungalow with all amenities in a quiet neighborhood close to downtown Indy. 10 minutes to stadium; 15 to downtown museum and arts. Nice large fenced in backyard with spacious wrap around deck. Very clean and well-maintained. Friendly and responsive owner. Also recommend stopping in Thirsty Turtle, just around the corner, for beer and good food. Overall, just what we were looking for!
Perfect for our stay
This cute, clean and comfortable house was perfect for our stay in Indianapolis. Close to downtown, private and great rates. Would definitely recommend.
Clean, cozy & great location
Everything was very clean! The home has a very cozy, comfortable, feel. It has all the comforts of home including a Kuerig with pods! The location is within great proximity of downtown. There is a market nearby for anything you may have forgotten. The owner was very responsive to any needs. Great place to stay!
Great little home for Indy visit!
This was perfect for our short stay in Indy. Location was very convenient to downtown & other areas of the city we went. I attended a trade show near the airport & commute was only about 20 min. The owner was very responsive & even allowed us to check in a bit early, provided helpful information about the home, heat, parking etc. Decor was so artful, charming, everything very clean & neat--all that a traveler might need was thoughtfully provided. WiFi worked perfectly which was important for my husband doing business on the go. Owner had printed business cards available with address, WiFi info & contact number --a great idea, so convenient & something I wish everyone did. The bed was amazing, so comfortable----best we have slept on any of our last three VRBO visits to other locations! The fenced back yard was a real plus for our pet. Would certainly recommend this home to friends or book a repeat stay here on a return to Indy.
Cozy & Quiet
Great place to stay, quiet street, owner is very responsive - even offered a free night if we were delayed flying out due to weather!
Perfect as our home away from home for the week
This is our 2nd year using this adorable home as our "home base" and the home-away-from- home office (for myself and our two small dogs) while my husband was attending a trade show downtown.
It worked out perfectly once again. As an aside, this trip we got the chance to try Shapiro's deli/cafeteria - a downtown Indianapolis tradition for 100 years - I STRONGLY recommend the lemon cake and lemon bars and everything else we had there was wonderful as well. I was pleasantly surprised to find a Cheesecake Factory just down the road (under 7 miles I believe) as well and we even found Bella Dog Bakery for some canine treats. Back to the rental...
Once again, we found it an easy loop to drop my husband at the convention center each morning and then get back to the house to settle in for my day's office work. It was an easy cab (or UBER) ride back from downtown when he had a function later in the night. Other huge plusses for us are the gated yard and deck- no struggling the dogs in and out of harnesses before we can get them out in the morning- YAY! Of course, the washer and dryer are wonderful to cut down on the getting-back-from-the-trip-laundry as well. As always, the owner is wonderfully responsive and great to work with. If we ever have a need to stay near downtown Indianapolis in the future we will definitely try to book here again.
Indianapolis does have UBER for all your transportation needs. It costs $9 to go the 3 miles to the center of the city. I also offer childcare, pet care (walking, feeding & bathing) and for guests staying any length of time, additional housekeeping. All are offered at a nominal fee.
