About Alec Willeson
I grew up on Cape Cod, and have enjoyed the beauty of The Cape all of my life! My wife, while growing up in Florida, has a love for the Cape that equals mine! We love the water, the beaches, the boating and the character of Cape Cod!
Alec Willeson purchased this House in 2013
Why Alec Willeson chose East Harwich
We have been looking for a home on the cape for many years, and finally found this one that we could enjoy with our children, grandchildren, and extended family! We have lovingly revamped and redecorated this house to make it our home, with so many new items! We want you to be as comfortable here as we are, and we want to afford you the opportunity to enjoy The Cape and all it offers as much as we do! This home is a great, affordable and very comfortable place to come to relax, enjoy family and friends, and explore all that the cape offers! We are 1 mile from the beach on Pleasant Bay, which offers great boating and sailing opportunities; we are 1 mile from two excellent golf courses with many more in the immediate area. There are a number of freshwater lakes for swimming and canoeing, including those in Nickerson State Park, just 1 mile away. The Cape Cod Rail Trail is nearby, offering 22 miles of trail through woods, marshes, and town centers, and is excellent for walking, birding, biking and exploring. We are just 7 miles from Nauset Beach(Atlantic Ocean with larger waves), 6 miles from Chatham Lighthouse Beach(great for ocean views and walks along the Atlantic), 6 miles from Skaket Beach in Orleans on Cape Cod Bay(calm, warmer waters great for little kids wanting to explore the flats during low tide!), 6 miles from Bank Street Beach, Harwichport, on Nantucket Sound(beach, and ferry to Nantucket!), 32 miles from Provincetown Harbor (Whale Watching!), 17 miles from Hyannis (airport, shopping, Cape Cod Central Railroad, Hyannisport and Kennedy Compound,...). And we are at the same time far enough away from the hustle and bustle to relax and enjoy the simple things.
What makes this House unique
We offer you our home: An affordable, very welcoming and comfortable four bedroom, two story home that is just right for a family looking for a place to enjoy our beloved Cape Cod!

Loving and Warm Home
We loved our stay at the Cape this year because of our house. It was perfect for our kiddos and they loved the swing set and huge yard. The the hosts, Alec and Debbie, were awesome and super responsive to our questions about baby gear. As a small business owner myself I really appreciate all of their attention to detail. They put a lot of love into the property and it did not go unnoticed. We hope we get to stay here again next summer. Oh and as a cook, the kitchen has everything and more. Thank you guys for sharing it with us.
The home was Beautiful, cozy, and immaculately clean. It was well stocked with everything you needed
We loved the outside deck. The house was in a nice neighborhood. .It was close to beaches and restaurants. Alex and Debbie were very helpful and we appreciated their suggestions for everything. If you want a delightful stay on The Cape, then this is the home to stay at. I would rate the home a 10 star.
Beautiful home with everything you need!
Alec and Debbie's home was perfect for our long weekend getaway to the cape. The hosts were extremely communicative and responsive and had instructions and suggestions for any question you could have! Their home is exactly as pictured and nestled away on a quiet street. Would love to stay here again!
We always strive to offer the best product possible. We take great pains to always look for ways to improve our home, and these reviews serve to show us what we may be doing right, and where we could stand to improve. Thank you for your kind words, and we are gratified to know that we have not disappointed!

Perfect home away from home.....but better!!
Our stay on Brothers Lane was just wonderful! The house had everything we needed for our family, including a 4 year old and a 10 month old. The house is well located (and quiet) and we were able to have fun both at the house and on many excursions too. There was a great notebook filled with suggestions and ideas that were quite helpful. Thank you so much for sharing your very special house with us. Can't wait to return to the Cape and stay at your home again!!
Thank you, Barbara and family, for your kind words!
Your feedback is so important to us, and we are so glad to hear when your time at our home is much enjoyed. We look forward to hosting you next time, when your plans once again call for a trip to "The Cape"!
The Cape Cod National Seashore is close-by, and offers many options for exploring the beauty of Cape Cod, including trails, beaches, ponds, and activities. The Cape Cod Rail Trail is 22 miles of very comfortable bike riding, walking, and jogging trails through the towns of Harwich, Chatham, Orleans and Eastham. Nickerson State Park is only a few miles away, and has many trails and many ponds, all of which offer swimming, canoeing, boating, and sailing, if you love the option of enjoying the FRESH water of The Cape. Throughout The Cape, the are a variety of lighthouses to visit, the closest being Chatham Light, and Nauset Light in Eastham. There is also a fast ferry out of Harwich which can take you to Nantucket, which has a charming waterfront, harbor and seaside village to explore, including an excellent Whaling Museum. Rent bikes there (or take your own on the ferry), and you can venture out to some beautiful beaches all around Nantucket. The ferry ride is about an hour, and it's perfect for a day trip. There is whale watching available out of Provincetown, at the tip of The Cape, which is a fun activity for the whole family. A great way to get out on the water and see those amazing whales! That is also a nice day trip. In Provincetown, there is also a fun Pirate Museum on the waterfront, with many artifacts from The Whidah, a pirate ship which went down just off the beach in Wellfleet way back when. In Chatham, there are Seal Tours which take you by boat out of the harbor to see all of the Seal colonies which have become very popular, and they also offer trips to the island of Monomoy, which is an uninhabited part of the Cape Cod National Seashore. They offer walking tours of the island, which is miles of beaches and dunes and bird life and sea life. It's a beautiful way to see the natural habitat of many species of birds, and an excellent walking tour along unspoiled beaches.
