About Judy DiFranco

I am a native New Yorker living on Long Island. When my son was younger we vacationed in the White Mountains often, loving to hike and enjoy nature. Now we also love to ski and enjoy the winter months as well. It's truly the best of both worlds and so close to home without the need to have to deal with airports and their constant delays. I've traveled extensively, I know what I like and I like to treat others how I wish to be treated.

Judy DiFranco purchased this townhome in 2008

Why Judy DiFranco chose White Mountains

The unobstructed mountainviews and amazing sunsets are spectacular and not to be missed. Also, the unit is very open, light, bright and airy and tranquil and VERY family friendly and tranquil. The rec center is wonderful with all it's amenities and everyone is in 'vacation mode' and so friendly and families thoroughly enjoy their stay.

What makes this townhome unique

The magnificent mountainviews from the back of the unit, the quiet solitude of sitting with a glass of wine watching the sunset, the fun of the community center and the very friendly and warm folks in the area; hiking, kayaking, golfing in the warmer months and some of the best skiing in the winter months

Great spot for a mountain getaway

  • 4 of 5

This place was perfect for my group of 6 to stay at while skiing Loon and Waterville Valley. The view is awesome, and the rental is equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Beds were comfy. Loved the fireplace. Kitchen had everything we needed, though it's definitely small.

Location was great, about 20 minute drive to Loon and 10 to 15 to Waterville, plus it's close to some good restaurants and bars.

The spa/recreation facilities were a 10 minute drive away. The hot tub and pool were just what we needed after a day on the slopes. Note that there are 4 passes to the rec center that come with the rental, any guests over that will need to pay $12 each for a day pass.

Fantastic Views

  • 5 of 5

Judy's condo was well equipped , comfortable and homely. The view from the deck was amazing, with fantastic fall colo(u)rs.

The location was ideal for touring the area and the community centre facilities were great after a day out.

Judy responded quickly and positively to all our enquiries.

Excellent!! We loved it!

  • 5 of 5

My two girlfriends and I loved everything about this condo. Perfectly clean and stocked with everything we could need (except we had to get another roll of toilet paper!). Beautiful view and so homey, with comfortable beds, a lovely outdoor area and heat that worked swiftly when we needed it. Amazing rec center in the complex with pools and jacuzzis. We had a great meal at nearby Woodpecker's. Judy was very responsive, helpful and sweet both before and during our stay when we had questions. Highest recommendation! And I am looking forward to staying here again!

Lovely, peaceful spot in the mountains

  • 5 of 5

We came here for a week with my family, from the UK, and had a very enjoyable time. The condo was nicely situated with views across the valley for great sunsets and seeing the weather roll in. Enjoyed BBQs on the deck.

A very spacious accommodation with the double height living room a lovely space. Kitchen a bit small for catering for our whole family, but we coped - nearby restaurants and shops too (the store in the near village well-stocked).

The leisure centre on the Waterville Estate was good fun - good pools and a lake to play on.

Helpful contact with the owner before the trip, and everything ran smoothly.

I would recommend this place and the owner to others.

Views, Peace, and Location!

  • 4 of 5

Our favorite thing about our stay here was definitely the peaceful backyard with the gorgeous view! Whether it was coffee in the morning, a bbq lunch, or a glass of wine in the evening ... it is the perfect spot. There are only 4 units and they are positioned in such a way that you feel like you have the whole place to yourself. Our family of 5 stayed here and there was plenty of room. We enjoyed all the board games provided and the pool facilities up the road a bit are just fabulous ... a kids pool, adult pool which overlooks the kids pool, sauna, hot tubs, basketball court, pond with paddle boats, movie rentals ... everything you can think of to keep the kids busy and happy while mom and dad relax with a drink from the bar. The location is perfect for exploring Waterville Valley , Franconia State Park, and the White Mountains ... it is such a beautiful area with so many outdoor activities to do and sites to see. We hiked the gorge in Franconia State Park - spectacular! and the Lonesome Lake hike. There is also bike riding and kayaking ... you can easily find something to do everyday. Our favorite places a hop, skip and jump away from the condo were The Little Red School House (a must!) and The Woodstock Inn and Brewery. The Sugar Shack is also a must for breakfast! The beds were very comfy and the kitchen is well stocked for eating in. The pictures are accurate for what it looks like. A very peaceful, comfortable, and accommodating condo in a beautiful area.

Excellent condo; exceptionally clean!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of four stayed in the condo for six weekends this ski season and loved it. It is impeccably clean (I think you could safely eat off of literally any surface in the place) and very comfortable. We have stayed in several rentals in the Waterville area and I have to say that especially for its size, this place is very comfortable. The mattresses and bedding were very comfortable and cozy and honestly, for a ski house, that is a most important yet often overlooked element. The kitchen is small, however, it is efficient, incredibly well equipped and every item works exactly in the way you would hope - another rarity in vacation rentals. We hope to be back; it was convenient, very comfortable and exceptionally clean. Thank you so much!
