Charming 2 bedroom with well appointed designer kitchen with island overlooking backyard. Newly designed and renovated bathroom. One Queen size bed, 1 single bed, cot available on request. Relax on the quiet front porch or BBQ on the amazing deck while enjoying the garden view.
Quiet street, great location, close to everything you need. Steps to streetcar, bus and subway. Private 1 car driveway for use.
I grew up in the Beaches area but returned after the children flew the nest. I love the area. My home is a great joy to me and I am pleased to share it with you while visiting Toronto.
Lynda Harding purchased this house in 2009
This home charmed me with its fabulous designer kitchen and a great backyard for entertaining and gardening. The front porch has been my ideal relaxation spot to curl up with a good book.
I so enjoy being close to everything, whether it is a subway ride downtown, or biking paths along the waters edge. Great restaurants and bars in the area plus 3 grocery stores within a couple of blocks. Ride your bike, walk, sit on a patio or simply gaze at the garden while relaxing in the wonderful backyard.
This was a wonderful house for us to stay in for our week in Toronto! The house is in a great location, convenient to everything. The outside has a beautiful fenced in back yard with a 2 level deck and grill which we thoroughly enjoyed! Thank you for everything Lynda!
We stayed here with our 16 month old daughter for 4 nights at the end of our Canada vacation. The house was lovely - very well equipped as well as clean and tidy. The owner provided us with a highchair and travel cot for our daughter which meant we didn't have to bring any with us. The house is in a quiet neighbourhood but only a few blocks away from shops and restaurants. There are also great public transport links into Toronto - we used the GO train which took 11 mins into downtown Toronto but there are bus, subway and streetcar links nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying here again.
We came to Toronto to visit some friends and family and loved staying at this house. It was clean, well equiped and provided everything we needed for us. The owner was able to provide us with a play pen and an high chair for our two year old son so we didn't have to bring them in our trip. The house is very close to the beaches core area so it takes about 15 minutes to walk to the boardwalk and beach. We would definately come back for our next trip in Toronto! Thanks!
This is a very comfortable home in a great neighborhood. It's in walking distance to just about anything you need, including the lake. The home was clean, neat, and organized; and there was even some staple goods (butter, milk, coffee) made available to us. Comfort even extends to the outdoors, with a wonderful back yard space to sit and relax.
Will definitely try to book this home again the next time we visit Toronto.
This is a cute little house, close to any kind of amenity you could ask for. Grocery stores, Target & Starbucks are all close by! Check out No Bull Burgers on Kingston Road, just around the corner. FAB!
It is evident that the homeowner has pride of ownership. The home was spotless upon arrival & she was kind enough to keep a highchair & crib from a previous rental for our use.
We were only sad that it rained during our stay, otherwise, we would have loved to sit out on the front or back deck; both equally inviting.
Having grown up in Toronto, the prospect of NOT staying with family was a little daunting, but Lynda made everything very easy & was very pleasant to deal with. Given the opportunity, would definitely rent again!
As advertised a "cozy and comfortable home". It's located in a quiet neighbourghood, we went for a walk on our first night and some of the neighbours waved us, we were surprised.
The kitchen is well equiped and we are invited to feel at home, which we did. The backward is amazing, we were happy to relax there after walking and visiting tourists attractions all day.
The house is located a footstep from public transport. A couple of blocks... and you're at the Bingham loop to Hop on the streetcar (fun to ride) or you can take a bus right at the corner. It will take you to the subway (max 5 minutes). We left our car in the driveway most of our stay, downtown was approximatively 20 minutes away. You can easily go anywhere. Lynda suggested Rocketman app. It was very usefull combined with TTC website.
Our only regrets... we should have stayed longer, the beach and the boardwalk nearby is just stunning, we didn't have enough time ... would have loved to take a long walk there.
A great place !
The Beaches area of Toronto includes many miles of trails for biking, jogging, walking. Many beaches along the waterfront to enjoy and catch some sun. Queen Street and Kingsto Road is alive with outdoor patios, restaurants, bars and shopping. A bus outside the door will take you to the subway and downtown in 20 minutes to enjoy all the amenities that exciting Toronto has to offer. The Toronto Zoo is a fun place to visit and see the Pandas and is a 30 minute drive away or accessible by transit.
