Located on the eighth hole of the Kona Country Club Ocean Course in the quiet Keauhou Punahele complex, this stunning third-floor end unit features three bedrooms, three bathrooms and an expansive lanai with 180 degree ocean views. The open concept living space is highlighted by vaulted ceilings, new bamboo flooring and a gourmet kitchen with new cabinetry and appliances. Two bedrooms on the main floor each sleep two and feature newly-updated on-suite bathrooms. The loft space, open to the living area below, features a queen bed and a futon sofa, plus a freshly renovated full bath. We even replaced the awkward metal spiral stair unit with a new traditional staircase!

The Punahele complex is located in the mature, upscale Keauhou Resort area and is rated a Solid Gold Value by Hawaii Revealed. The complex features a pool and hot tub, plus a longhouse with grill. Situated within walking distance of the Kona Country Club, the Keauhou Bay Marina Activities Center, and the Sheraton Keauhou Bay - famous for free nightly manta ray viewing. The complex offers quick access to groceries, dining, the beaches and shopping of Alii Drive and Kona's coffee region.

Updated condo with ocean views next to country club

Looked great from the photos and did not disappoint. All upgraded appliances, nice kitchen, huge TV's and nice patio. Really enjoyed my stay here with my family as well as the location. Nice, quiet area close to shopping. Property and place was very clean and well-maintained. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family and would love to stay here again.

My three daughters and I flew in on the 9th of August, with my one daughter's boyfriend surprising her on the 10th. We found the place to be exactly as in the photos. It was beautiful and the floor plan was superb. I would love to have this place as my own. It was very clean, spacious, tastefully decorated and well equipped. The owner was very quick in answering any text message I sent. I have been to other vacation rentals where calls/e-mails/text messages were never returned. I assure you, that was NOT the case here. The washing machine was broken when we first arrived, but the owner left us a message it would be replaced on Monday - now that's service! This owner was on top of it the whole time we were there. She was really out there to please her occupants. The grocery store was close by as were many beaches, gift stores and historical landmarks. We never ran out of things to do. The only thing I would do if it were my place, is add air-conditioning. It was not unbearable by any means. In fact, the other four traveling with me were fine - besides, we are talking traveling in August - probably the hottest month of the year there. Hot flashes were what set me apart from them. Air conditioning or not, I would still return to the same unit, if time and circumstance allowed me to. We had a wonderfully comfortable time there and would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone considering the trip. Note: One thing that might be a problem for some is the stairs - there are quite a few.
