Small but very useful and convenient
We thought we were going to dislike the place when we arrived but soon realized that every space was well utilized and impressively organized. My husband and I had two big bags of stuff and a guitar. When we unpacked and put our clothes in the closet with big flat drawers and tuck our suitcases under the bad, it was as comfortable as home. It had many thoughtful features such as a safe where we could lock up passport and cash, and even a transformer for different voltage of electricity from what we use in the USA. The water closet and shower units ARE small, but it wasn't a problem for us because I am 5'4"110lbs and my husband is 6'2" but very skinny. The quarter of a circle shape shower unit seems to be 2x2 ft., but hot water was great, and the window unit of air-conditioner was very nice especially the week we were there was in 90 degree weather. It had very small dishwasher, oven, microwave, and even a washer combined with dryer which took some time for us to figure out how to use, but there was a binder that had all the instructions in English, so it was no problem. All other people at the conference were talking about going to a laundromat, but we were doing our laundry while sleeping. My husband and I were there only to sleep and take rests during the day for an hour or so because we had a busy schedule with the conference, so it was everything that we needed. The deck was little disappointing. I was looking forward to sitting out and having a take-out meal some nights, but it is nothing that can be used for having a meal on because it was pretty dingey without getting enough sunlight, but it was okay because we had dinner appointments for almost every night. Abundant great restaurants and proximity to many points of interest through the Ecole Militare Metro stop was one of the benefits this place offers. If we go back, we will definitely use this place.
Review of our stay during June / July 2018
Nice little apartment, very well located and exactly as advertised. I stayed for 8 days with my grandson. The apartment is small, with two rooms, a shower room and a toilet room. One room is the bedroom and one room is the combined dining area and kitchen. Washer dryer, refrigerator, dish washer, stove, sink and oven are all conveniently and efficiently located in this small space. We spent very little time in the apartment, so the small size was not an issue at all. I would rent this property again
This is the fourth year I've rented this apartment. It's in a wonderful area of Paris, just a few blocks from the Eiffel Tower. Many good and reasonably priced restaurants are a short walk away. Shortly, I'll be making plans for 2019!
Wonderful location and very private.
Thanks. Hope to see you next time.
Location is everything!
My wife and I recently enjoyed a 9-day stay at this cute little studio near the Champ de Mars, Eiffel Tower and Rue Cler in the classy 7th arrondissement. As past reviewers have noted, space is at a premium, but the interior design and furnishings make the most of the limited space. We were very comfortable in the master bedroom, and the kitchenette is equipped well enough to prepare meals. During our stay Paris was suffering through a blistering heat wave, but the air conditioner performed magnificently, cooling the entire apartment.
We cannot say enough about the apartment's fabulous location. Grocery stores, bakeries, cafes, and restaurants are all close at hand, and the proximity to several bus routes and metro station make access to the rest of the city very convenient. We were very familiar with the nearby shopping street (Rue Cler) from previous visits, and really enjoyed walking a few short blocks to enjoy strolling and eating on this quaint pedestrian street.
Thank you Stephan and Florence for making our stay so pleasant and trouble free. We hope to return someday, and recommend it to anyone seeking a hideaway in a safe and interesting part of Paris.

Fabulous apartment in the heart of Paris
We really enjoyed our stay at this sweet apartment. The suite had everything we needed for a great, fist visit to Paris, including lot's of information on the area like restaurants and sights to see and the nice appliances in a well appointed kitchen were perfect. The speedy wifi let us keep in touch with home from our tablet and research the area, and the provided computer and printer were useful for flight check-in and boarding pass printing. The best part though was that the bed was so comfortable we slept like kings while there. We enjoyed breakfasts in the morning and appies in the evening on the private patio. For a couple you couldn't really ask for more if a tour of all the Parisian sights is your goal, we walked to everything we saw (perhaps why we slept so well) save for Roland Garros which was an easy walk and train ride away. Should we return to Paris we will definitely book this lovely little apartment again.
