The apartment we stayed in was at advertised and did indeed have wonderful views of the Eiffel Tower. We weren't able to stay there the first night but were offered a good alternative, slight inconvenience at having to move after the first night, but it did not affect our overall enjoyment.
The apartment was clean and well appointed. Overall a great base for a break in Paris.
Would definitely stay here again.
We had a great stay at this property for our short Paris visit. Originally we were booked for a second floor deluxe apartment with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, but were upgraded to the seventh top floor with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths and a 4th wc, no bath. Both apartments were fine for the 6 of us. The first night in the upgraded apartment there was no heat in the loft area but that was quickly fixed in the morning. The front desk was very kind and professional and helped us check in a little early since we arrived early on a red eye from the US, so my tired kids and elderly mom were able to rest. Small elevator that carries 3 people max, extremely important when traveling with an elderly person. There is a small lobby area where you can leave your luggage if you arrive early. Apartment was very clean and had everything we needed, fridge, microwave, toaster, oven, etc. and apartment was nicely heated. Good shower water pressure. (Not sure what it would be like in the summer.). Location just one block from Eiffel Tower, and just like in brochure you can see Eiffel Tower from your window, which sparkles extra on every hour. Very quiet on our street, despite close location to Eiffel Tower. We caught the Big Bus at the Eiffel Tower and traveled that way for 2 days, with a few taxis when time was short. Streets in front of building washed every morning so never stepped in dog poo near the building:). Highly recommend this place for a winter visit.
This was a girls trip to Paris in Oct 2016. We contacted the owner about a month before and upgrades to the 4 bedroom as our number grew from 6 to 8. We were on the first floor but the kitchen and 1 bedroom and a full bath was in the basement. At first no one wanted the basement but it worked out that the ones sleeping down there said it worked perfect. The apartment was large and after a day we got used to the kitchen being downstairs.
It is so close to everything, bus tours right at the end of the street, you could easily walk over to the Eiffel Tower at night just to watch the lights or just sit on the sofa in the living room and see them. The neighbourhood felt very safe and quiet.
The front desk had limited hour with a contact number for after hours. They helped us with everything from adapters plugs for our phones, booking taxis to fresh towels.
We did have a problem trying to get the stove top and oven to work we never figured it out. Front desk was going to send someone to show us how but in fairness we didn't wait around, we had Paris to explore. Something's in the apartment are getting a little tired, the windows in the basement the cables to open them were broken.
We will be booking this apartment for our next trip to Paris! Loved the building, the safe feel to the neighbourhood and being so close to everything. It made our first trip to Paris such a positive experience !
Worked out well for 3 couples. Close to everything. Great view of the Eiffel Tower
I booked this apartment for a 2 night stay with family. Right from the first moment we fell in love with the apartment. It was clean, airy, and just lovely. We not only overlooked the Eiffel Tower, but the street the apartment is on is quiet and tree lined. There is a small supermarket nearby, and a selection of café's and restaurants. As we were right near the Eiffel Tower, tourist buses, regular buses and taxis are within minutes of the apartment. I cannot rate this apartment highly enough, and will definitely be staying here again soon.
This apartment was about as close to the Eiffel Tower as you can get! The views were amazing and we loved being in close walking distance to so many things. The apartment was large and comfortable. Our only complaints were no air conditioning in the bedrooms, and the courtyard the bedroom windows open to is extremely noisy. Also, the master bathroom does not have a toilet, so you have to walk down a long hallway to get to one. Otherwise, we had an amazing stay in Paris!
Please be careful with this owner. I booked a different unit from him and he told me there was a flood and that he wanted me to "upgrade" to this unit, even though it has one less bedroom and bathroom than what I originally booked.
He mentioned this 4 days before by trip to Paris and only after I contacted him about possibly checking-in early. He ruined a trip that I was planning for months, because then I had to scramble to find another place.
work/live/play. The restaurants and boutiques are top notch and include cafes, ice cream, a movie theater, a farmers’ market, wine shops, gourmet cheese and pasta, and French bakeries. Popular meeting spots include Rue Cler, Rue Saint Dominique, Trocadero, and Eiffel Tower. A huge influx of American expats has turned the neighborhood into “Little Manhattan”.All these great spots to shop and eat are within walking distance of the apartment, but street parking is available for cars.
