Top Floor Ocean View with Air Conditioning Throughout - Free WiFi - Next to Town

This is a nicely upgraded top floor end unit (with windows in every room) and has air conditioning throughout. Most other units only have a wall AC in the living room, but this has a quiet air conditioning system throughout the unit, including the bedroom. Be sure to check out the video tour. The link is below the map and above the photos where 'Link to our other rentals' and Link to video tour' appears. If this is not available for the dates you want, one of our others probably is available. We have 6 ocean front 1 bedroom units, 3 two bedroom oceanfront units, and 10 ocean view units and can probably fill your needs. Our calendar is always up to date.

The Kona Reef is just 1 1/2 blocks to town, so you are just a few minutes stroll to shops, restaurants, the farmers market and more. There is no need to drive every time you want to go into town.

The condo is fully equipped with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. A full kitchen with all the appliances you need and more, and a spacious bedroom with a king bed, and a roomy living and dining area make this a wonderful 'home away from home' for your stay in Kona.

Fantastic Owners!

If you are looking to stay at a wonderful place on the Big Island, look no further.

Not only is this place wonderful, it is located within (a very short) walking distance of the best town in Hawaii. Lots to do, see and experience.

Of course, the best thing about this is not just 'the place', but how the owners are to work with.

When looking at places on line, the questions to ask are: Are they responsive to inquires? Are they easy to work with? Are they helpful? Do they accommodate you?

If you want to work with the best, then you can't do better than Ken and Dia.

On all other counts, I'd have rated this 4 1/2 stars (except there are no '1/2' points).

However, they helped us through a conundrum - that other owners might've tried to extract a few more $s.

They are more interested in a quality stay for their guests.

This place is fabulous. Everything is provided from dishes and pots and pans to fun in the sun items. The view is spectacular from this 3rd floor corner condo. The windows in every room is a plus for this unit, along with the fans in every room. It is in walking distance to many restaurants, stores, bars, and coffee shops. It also is located right next to a beach, where we saw surfers every morning while sipping our coffee on the lanai. We most defiantly , will be booking this unit again on our next visit to Kona. The staff at the Kona Reef need to be mentioned also. They are the friendliest and are full of information on any tours that you may want to take, or explorations on your own. We had a wonderful time.

Wonderful condominium, perfectly stocked with accessories to enhance our vacation, close proximity to downtown, the check in staff were friendly and very helpful.


The elevator was a bit unpredictable during our stay and should be avoided if possible

Great location, beautiful view

We were very pleased with our stay at Ken & Dia Peters' condo at the Kona Reef. The location was great, easy walking to good restaurants, bars and shopping and a beautiful ocean view. The condo was older, but nicely kept up and very comfortable. We did have a bit of a glitch with our reservation at the start, but it was all resolved to our satisfaction. We would definitely stay here again should we come back to the Big Island.

Beautiful ocean view
