About Marcia Dibbs

I am originally from Southern WI, but grew up spending summers in Eagle River and enjoyed 12 years skiing for the Chain Skimmers. We purchased our own little piece of paradise, and have introduced the next generation to the magic of the area. Our daily activities include water skiing, kayaking, walking the dogs, waterskiing, trying to decide between Chanticleer and Braywood for lunch, and then waterskiing.

Marcia Dibbs purchased this house in 1987

Why Marcia Dibbs chose Eagle River

This lovely property feels like home the moment you walk in the door. The interior is natural wood with sky lights and 3 patio doors facing Catfish Lake. The home is fully updated, clean and well supplied.

What makes this house unique

Our home is on one of the best fishing lakes to be found; perch and sunfish off of the dock, and muskies in the bay. It is a short walk away from Twelve Pines, a local restaurant with a fun Tiki bar and screened in dining area. Eagles soar over the property, and deer frequently graze in the lawn. Waterskiing of the dock is always a treat!

Memorable Fall Family Vacation on Catfish Lake

  • 5 of 5

We recently enjoyed our week-long fall vacation at Marcia's home for the second year in a row. We were again pleased with the property and its amenities and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The area is so quiet and private and makes for a relaxing vacation. Our children and grand-children joined us for the full week this year, having loved the 4 days they spent with us last fall. Our two small grand-children especially enjoyed playing in the water at the sandy beach area and fishing off the pier; the men enjoyed taking our boat out fishing every day; and we girls spent lots of time relaxing on the deck and beach and browsing around the shops in town. Everything made for another memorable family vacation. We love your comfy home and lakeside property and thank you for sharing it with us again!

Fantastic family getaway lakehouse that is SO clean and the host is wonderful!

  • 5 of 5

We were looking for a new place to take our young son and dog for a family vacation, and our friends recommended Eagle River. We were scrambling for a place and came across Marcia's cottage. Boy did we luck out! The place is comfortable, decorated nicely, has all the "extras" you want like cooking stuff, laundry detergent, soap, paper towels, etc., and has a huge yard. The dock was perfect for the pontoon boat we rented and is right next to the Marina and Twelve Pines. The entire place was very clean and all of the linens and beds were comfortable and taken care of. It had everything we needed and more! We will be back for sure!!

Terrific Family Cottage for all Ages

  • 4 of 5

We spent a wonderful week at this cottage with our adult children and 17 month old granddaughter...everyone had a great time! Nice sandy beach with its gradual slope for the toddler and her grandma to play on...and the others as well. The lake provided great fishing and the marina is close enough to rent a pontoon...which we did and there were many lakes that we were able to boat. The cottage provided everything we needed and will definitely consider staying here again.

Eagle River & Chain of Lakes at its best!

  • 5 of 5

Great home with a cabin feel, would recommend to others, privacy, rustic decor, everything you want in a kitchen including dishwasher. My 4 year old Grandson enjoyed the bunk bed and long grassy yard to the lake for safe play. Large deck with gas grill was a joy. Wonderful fire pit near the water and the best part, easy access to the lakes. My son's boat easily parked on the sand bottom surface next to the dock. Owner easy to work with. GREAT PLACE.. THANK YOU !!!
