Underground Parking Is Great Especially For The Winter Months And Is Not Common. There Is Good Fly Fishing On The Fraser River And Some Of The Best Fly Fishing In The State On The Colorado River That Is About 30 Minutes Away. There Are Three Boating Lakes Close By -- Lake Grandby, Shadow Mountain Lake And Grand Lake. Having A Separate Den For The Kids To Play Games Or Xbox Gives Space Of There Own And The Adults Privacy.

Exactly what you would expect from a brand new full furnished townhouse.

We were very happy with this rental property. The grocery store was right on the way. Every utensile and appliance was supplied and in perfect working condition. We were confused when we arrived as to which building we would be staying in but the owners responded promptly to help. There are 4 rows of townhouses. Skip the first turn in where the sign in the pictures show A,B,C. Take the next right and the garage will be on your right. It is a single car garage door. We had a nissan murano and probably wouldn't have been comfortable pulling in with something much larger. Having the option to park in a garage was nice, just a little tight. Overhead clearance was also tight. When opening the rear hatch we made sure to not let it open all the way, there was a copper water pipe that we were afraid that we would have hit. Not being used to life in the mountains left us initially confused with the lack of air conditioning. There are two windows on the second floor that once opened quickly cooled the space thanks to the mountain breezes. We were there in july. Having said that we were very satisfied with this property. Just a couple of things that I felt new visitors might find helpful.

Owner's Response: I am glad you enjoyed your stay at our townhouse. Thank you for making a point about the under ground garage, it also shows a height restriction of 7 feet. It is tight for large vehicles but possible, we use to drive a GMC Yukon XL, which we still managed to park. However, there is a sensor that you have to be careful not to drive in too slowly. If you are nervous and feel this is too much of a squeeze for the larger vehicles, there is outside parking available actually where our previous guests said not to park. It is the first turning on your right when you see the Winterstar sign for AB and C townhouse blocks, you are allowed to park there. We also would like to mention we have fans in the bedrooms for guests to use and they are correct, most properties in the mountains do not have A/C!

Perfect spot for Family Ski Vaca

Wonderful amenities, cozy and convenient. Very nice townhouse with space and everything you need. The owner is quick to respond and very accommodating. Close to town and shopping but up the mountain to feel the mountain vacation we wanted. Shuttle to Winter Park is a few steps away, convenient and prompt. The rec center was a wonderful bonus with workout facilities, hot tubs, pool and courts.

Great condo with good amenities and location.

The condo had a great amount of space and was very clean. Our family enjoyed our week stay here and took advantage of the hot tubs and pool. The condo was very clean and had all the supplies we needed for our stay. The manager/owner was great to work with too. The bonus for us was having TVs in every room with xfinity which is our same cable provider at home. Thank you for the great week!

Nice accommodations. Ski U 16 Championships stay.

The owners were very pleasant and responded back quickly with any questions we had. The heated underground parking is a plus. The kitchen was nicely stocked with anything you would need.
