Was looking for a relaxing and quiet lake getaway and this place was perfect. Great outside eating space and loved being able to to get a nice cross breeze while preparing meals. Our family was comfortable and enjoyed our stay.
Hard to find at night, no. Lights on, porch light bulb burned out, no spare bulbs and many lamps didn't have a bulb. Place smelled bad. Discovered furnance filter was caked with dirt. Purchased and replaced the next morning and by mid-day the odor had diminished. Be sure to bring your own gospel because want they provide for bath towels isn't making larger than than towels. Bring pillow cases too, some pillows don't have them and they have ugly stains. The King mattress is worn out and sinks to about 2" thick when you get on it.Bring clothes hangers too because there are none of those either. Coming back after darkis a challenge even with the porh light working because the house sits toward the back of the lot closer to the lake nestled behind nice mature trees. Strangely, there one of those big yellow sodium flood lights at the top of a tall electric pole that would illuminate the yard beautifully. Where I come from the utily company charges $7 a month for ours and on. I feel that just like having bulbs in all the lamps or the cost of having decent lighting for your paying guest or replacing the furnace filter for $5 a month, that it is a sign of disrespect by the owner or the property manager or both. If you visit the property managers web site there are only 5 star reviews. They are clearly not real. That said we enjoyed ourselves at Lake Murray, but for the money our rental should have been nicer.
Enjoyed our long weekend At The Lake. The weather was good, nice to have a ramp for the boat. We went fishing each day. The house was very clean. It was only the two of us and we really enjoyed our stay. House was also located in a very quiet and peaceful area.
Enjoyed an extended week At The Lake.....perfect weather, a dock for our pontoon boat and a large screen porch to just sit and relax.
The house was roomy enough for our clan....4 adults and 2 kids.
The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfortable....no complaints!!
I would highly recommend this property.
Enjoyed a week At the Lake in spite of the rain. As it turned out for us 4 fishermen, the rainy weather was good for our fishing success. The accommodations were good to excellent for our group. Ramp access for our larger boats was nearby and parking in the yard was very adequate. We liked the quiet cove and quiet neighbors.
Since it was such a rainy week, it would have helped to have a covered area in back of the house before entering; but, if not raining, this would be no problem.
The house was very nicely equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom areas.
Our property manager was very good to arrange our stay.
We would definitely rent At the Lake for our next fishing trip to Lake Murray.
