Outstanding vacation !

We had a outstanding time at Dave's beautiful home. Great location, clean water, beautiful views, clean, very spacious house with everything you need. Dave was very responsive to any questions we had. Dead end road, no traffic, quiet neighbors. Great fishing. I would highly recommend. Ed & Jane

Owner's Response: ED MADE MY LIFE EASIER STARTING WITH HELPING ME MOVE THE DOCK OUT TO DEEPER WATER THE WEEK BEFORE HIS STAY. THEN HE TOOK CARE OF DIRECT TV PROBLEMS AND AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM AS WELL. PERFECT WEEK TO HAVE A GOOD GUY LIKE ED IN THE HOUSE. THANK YOU ED AND FAMILY. GLAD YOU STILL HAD A GREAT TIME.

Beautiful Lakefront Home.

Lovely home directly on the shore of Lake Champlain. Clean and well maintained home with all the amenities. Plenty of room for large families. Spectacular sunsets. Dave, the owner, was very helpful and provided excellent customer service. Short ride to Montreal and great golf courses close by. Would highly recommend this property.

Vacationing on Windmill Point

Thank you Dave!

We just finished our first "extended family" vacation in VT. The house was lovely -- contemporary, open and breezy. It is a well-kept and clean home and it suited our needs beautifully. Eating dinner on the westerly decks and watching the sunset views was one of our favorite things to do there.

Owner's Response: THANK YOU FOR THE REVIEW. CAN NOT SAY THAT I WAS NOT DISAPOINTED WITH A FOUR. I KNOW WE HAD A COUPLE OF UNAVOIDABLE SITUATIONS WITH THE LEAK FROM THE ICE MAKER, WHICH WAS FIXED WITHIN 3 HOURS OF THE REPORT AND THE SCREEN THAT WAS BROKEN WAS REPLACED AT THAT TIME AS WELL. I ATTEMPTED TO BE VERY ATTENTIVE TO YOUR MANY EMAILS PREVIOUS TO YOUR STAY. NOT SURE WHAT I MISSED. THAT IS THE SECOND 4 I HAVE RECEIVED IN THREE YEARS AND THE OTHER WAS BECAUSE A STORM TIPPED OVER MY DOCK.

Great place for a family!

This is my second year at this house and my family and I love it! The house is perfect, the sunsets are beautiful, and the fishing is excellent. We have a large group (8 adults and 2 children) and there is plenty of space to spread out and tons of yard space for the kids to play. Dave is an excellent host and very easy to communicate with. If you are considering this place book it, you will not be disappointed.

A beautiful lake house

The location of this house is phenomenal. You are right on the lake and you get to enjoy magnificent sunsets every night. We were lucky to have a beautiful stretch of weather throughout our stay. The water was clear and warm. We enjoyed swimming, kayaking, fishing right off the dock, sunbathing and playing games on a huge lawn by the lake. We found the house to be clean and well-equipped. There was plenty of space for all of us - 6 adults and 3 kids (2, 4, and 9 year old). If you have little kids I suggest bringing water shoes to prevent falls - the rocks by the water are slippery. There is also a basket of water shoes in the house. We enjoyed watching July 4th fireworks right from the deck. At night we played board games, cards and watched millions of stars from the crow’s nest. Before the trip we asked Dave if there was a fire pit outside and he said that there was none, which was not a big deal. Upon our arrival we found a brand new fire pit on the lawn - what a nice surprise! Kids really enjoyed roasting marshmallows at night. We took a couple of day trips and Ausable Chasm was our favorite. Overall, this house is a gem. Dave was attentive and responsive to all our needs. Thank you, Dave! I hope we can come back next summer.
