Since the moment, we arrived at Birgiitt’s home. We felt like home. Her house it’s amazing. I definitely would stay again whenever I am in the LA area.
Lovely stay in heart of city
We really enjoyed our stay with in this charming Los Feliz suite. The location is amazing, so easy to access all of the hot spots, restaurants and city activities. Would definitely recommend and stay again in the future.
Calm and amazing place
This was my first time booking a room not a whole house, there was new things about it like sharing a restroom which was my least favorite part
But overall, so quite I think I was the loudest person :)
If you ask me, I will definitely recommend this place.
Very clean as well
Magical Stay in the Hills
Every time I come to Los Angeles I try to stay in a different area. This is one LA's best attributes: It's never the same city twice. I could not have been any happier than to discover this tucked-away gem in the Franklin Hills part of Loz Feliz. Birgitt was a lovely hostess and the breakfast in the morning gave me a chance to meet other travelers, as well as the host. The house was bright and laden with gorgeous art (done mostly by her daughter). Located atop the Shakespeare bridge, as you cross it you can see down across the city. At night, amongst all the twinkling lights in the treetops I felt myself transposed to another place. It felt like a fairy-tale.
Location-wise, the space was perfect for me, as I do not drive. I could walk to the red line or take the Silver Lake bus downtown. There were wonderful coffee shops and restaurants, and it was close to my favorite LA bookstore, Skylight on Vermont.
Delightful stay. Can not recommend enough.
Peaceful & pretty
Birgitt and Ingrid welcomed us warmly during a busy time and a very hot streak of weather. We spent two days with them, and the A/C made the Sunset Room so much cooler than the rest of the house. Wow, thank you for the air! While we didn't swim, we enjoyed sitting in a swing by the pool with a glass of wine, surrounded by greenery and flowers. We walked to dinner on Hillhurst and took cheap Lyfts into Hollywood for an evening date. It was a perfect, private East Side homebase. And so lovely...beautiful touches in decor all throughout the room and house. A well-loved home. Thank you for sharing it!
Adorable space, lovely hosts
Birgit and Ingrid were a joy to stay with. The rooms were lovely, cool and clean. The pool was great, we used it every day. Will absolutely be returning.
