The Island Colony is ideally located in the heart of Waikiki. This luxuriously remodelled condo has stunning ocean and mountain views with resort-like amenities in one of Waikiki's tallest skyscrapers.
The freshly minted living room features a king size pillow-top bed, queen size sofa bed, desk, flat screen cable TV, WiFi, black out drapes and air conditioning.
The fully stocked kitchen features a four burner cooktop, microwave convection oven range hood and full size refrigerator freezer, so you can eat in the comfort of your own home.
The oversized lanai is polished off with high-see-through glass railings and outdoor patio furniture. At 235 ft above the water the views are breath taking: ocean, sunset, fireworks, mountain and canal.

We have been coming to Waikiki for 17 years and felt it was time to invest in this beautiful building after staying here for several years. We love to travel the world, but keep coming back to Waikiki because it has everything we want on our vacations. Gorgeous ocean and canal views compliment this completely renovated studio condo, which is fully equipped with all the conveniences a person could ask for in a vacation home. It is located two blocks from the beach, beside the Ala Wai Canal and minutes from the most desirable shopping spots, restaurants and bars. Honolulu Zoo and Aquarium, Ala Moana Shopping Centre, the famous Royal Hawaiian and Diamond Head are just a short distance away as well, plus much more.
The Island Colony is one of the tallest buildings in Waikiki. With a large swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, cabanas, complimentary lounge chairs, an exercise room, BBQ's and picnic tables, guests will not be disappointed. There is also a convenience store, laundry, restaurant, gift shop, and Enterprise Car Rental located onsite. The building has 24/7 security and a open air lobby for your safety and comfort.
The entire rental process was easy and accommodating. The condo is conveniently located in the center of Waikiki, within walking distance to beach, restaurants, and activities and had a great view of the Ala Wai Canal, the city and the beach. The accommodations were very clean, new and well-appointed. The absolute best we observed in the building! You can't beat the price for the value. The AC worked wonderfully as did all appliances and plumbing. We had a rental car so covered/secure parking within the building was appreciated and we used the pool daily AND the the laundry on the 6th was handy. The most telling thing we can share is that we'd stay here again and not look elsewhere. We were VERY happy that WE had THIS condo and not any other.
We had an amazing stay. The studio is stocked with everything you need. There's a big lanai (deck) and big open view.
Renata was quick to respond to any questions. And, she communicated to ensure a smooth check-in.
We've stayed at Island Colony before and will again as it suits us perfectly. We like the location as its not directly on Waikiki path but only a short 12 minute walk to the beach.... it so much quieter and the channel is a great place to and enjoy in the early mornings and. Condo is only 1 block up from main bus route.... .Renata, was easy to work with and quick to respond to questions. Condo was, nicely renovated, and clean with tons of storage area, bed was comfy as well. The lanai is spacious, we spent every evening sitting on it.. Air conditioner worked well and the kitchen had everything we needed. BBQ's for the complex are a bonus, and pool area is well kept.... The only drawback to the condo, is there is very, very limited counter space, even in the bathroom, but you can make it work just fine. :) It would have also been nice, coming in on a late flight to have a complimentary coffee on hand.....
The condo has a beautiful view on the lanai. Everything you'll need and then some from the fully equipped kitchen to water toys. The pool is an added bonus and the in house convenience store has a large selection at reasonable prices. Full on site laundromat is open 24 hours a day. Security is on point and always fully staffed. Renata the owner is prompt to answer any queries before, during and after your stay. You won't be disappointed. I would highly recommend booking your stay at this beautiful property Five star all the way!!! Perfect for a family or a couple.
My husband and I, along with our one year old enjoyed the perfect holiday in Honolulu while staying here! We were there for 3 weeks and it was excellent. Renata continued to be very helpful via e-mail while we were there, quickly answering any minor questions we had. Having the kitchen allowed us to cook and eat at home whenever we wanted. We enjoyed several cups of coffee and many meals out on the lanai which has a gorgeous view. We would return in a heart beat!
