There is no one above or below you to disturb you. Enjoy our lovely 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath condo in an ocean front complex on the bluffs of Solana Beach overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Our unit is on the first floor with two floors. It is 300 feet from the bluff and 500 feet from the beach access. The condo is furnished to reflect the casual beach lifestyle of Southern California. This is the perfect vacation home for a family of 4 to 6 to enjoy the breathtaking views and myriad activities of Solana Beach and Del Mar. There are ocean views from the club house and several other points in the complex. Listen to the sound of the surf, relax in the sunshine and watch for surfers and sea life. We often see dolphins, pelicans and seals and have seen whales during the annual migrations. More than 10 great restaurants are a short walk from the complex or enjoy cooking in the fully equipped kitchen. The beach is right beneath the complex only 127 stairs to the beach where you can swim, surf or sun bathe. The Amtrak depot is within walking distance (20 min) and the train can take you to downtown San Diego and the Gaslamp district or Old Town. The Del Mar Racetrack is walking distance (30 Minutes). The private gated complex reflects true resort living with it's oceanfront clubhouse and beautifully landscaped grounds. There is an outdoor shower as well as more showers in the clubhouse and even a sauna. Drink your morning coffee as you sit on the bluff listening to the sounds of the sea and watch the surfers catch a wave. You will never want to leave.
The unit is set back from the bluff just 300 feet, spectacular Ocean views from the club house. The beach access stairs are 500 feet from the unit. Check the map for the exact location of the unit.
Similar to many condos in the beachside communities there is NO AIR CONDITIONING but there is heating units in the condo.

My wife and I bought this condo so we could enjoy the cool summers and mild winters, that you really can't find anywhere else.
What makes this Condo unique
This property offers incredible ocean sights and sounds. If you choose to enjoy the beach, its a short walk, or just stay and lounge by the pool and Jacuzzi. You can play Tennis, or enjoy the game room and Club House. You can walk to the Del Mar racetrack and fairgrounds, and to many restaurants. There is a lot to do without ever getting into your car. There are several cafe's within a 5 minute walk including but not limited to the following: Naked cafe, Beach Grass cafe, Cedros cafe,, Hideaway cafe, There is a CVS Pharmacy less then 5 minute walk that has almost all supplies you may need. Fletchers cove is less then .25 miles on sierra avenue. The beach below our condo complex is Solana Beach.

Love winter at the beach. Condo very clean comfortable and we had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation.
Really enjoyed the concert in Fletcher's cove on Thursday night. The Condo was clean and wonderfully located. Close to lego land and about 30 minutes from wild animal park. It was great to be able to walk to restaurants and bars.
Great property, great location and super close to the beach
Great property, and great location. It is close to the beach, shops and lots of places to eat. You park your car and never have to use it again if you don't want to. You can also take the express train to downtown San Diego and Sea Port Village. We stay at this rental every year and we love it.
Very spacious lots of sleeping options, great location within walking distance for food options.

Location is good....
We stayed at this location for one week in April. We did have a major issue upon check-in however, the owner bent over backwards to resolve (and it did get resolved the next day).
The location is great - shopping, beach, pool, etc. You don't have to have a car if you don't want to - there are pharmacies, grocery stores, etc., within walking distance. There is a large heated pool and 2 hot tubs which we enjoyed several times each day. It's a very (2 minutes) short walk to the rear of the property where there are benches that overlook the Pacific and steps down to the beach. There is a great playground just 2 blocks away as well.
The property itself can probably accommodate up to 6 people. It appears that the owner is slowly making updates to the unit as it is a bit dated. Having said that, if you want to be close to the ocean, you cannot beat this location.

The Solana Beach and Tennis Club has 4 Tennis Courts, 1 Pool, and 2 Jacuzzi's, A Recreation Room, and Club House. It is located in The charming, seaside community of Solana Beach is nestled along the northern coast of San Diego County, and is approximately a 30 minute drive from downtown San Diego. Its main access routes include Interstate 5, Highway 101, Lomas Santa Fe Drive, and Via de la Valle. The City is home to a vibrant train station that serves both Amtrak and the Coaster, one of only three in San Diego County. The City is a favorite destination for those looking to enjoy the beach, eclectic shops, great dining, golfing, nightlife, and nearby hiking. Del Mar racetrack, which has a capacity of 44,000, is an American Thoroughbred horse racing track at the Del Mar Fairgrounds in the seaside city of Del Mar 1 mile away from the complex. If you desire these terms please send me a request with the terms requested and I will quote you the rate for stays more then 30 days. For stays more then 30 days there will not be any tax, and an option to have a housecleaner come in and clean as often as you would like for $185 each cleaning.
