Relaxing vacation at a beautiful well kept property.
We were a party of four adults. The cabin was perfect for us. There are four comfortable beds as well as 2 couches in the living room. The cabin was clean and stocked with all the basics when we arrived. Ed and Cate were perfect hosts. They greeted us upon arrival and were available throughout the week. We were welcome to have visits from family even a couple of four legged members. There was ample room to enjoy both inside and outside activities. We were generously allowed to use the kayaks and the canoe. Webber lake is so beautiful. We enjoyed relaxing by the water. There was a fully equipped area for grilling which we used several times. I would highly recommend this cabin to any family planning a get away.
Thanks for a great stay in your wonderful camp, Kate & Ed!
Clean, comfortable, camp on the shore of a perfect pond. Loons, osprey, for trees - a wonderful week away from the world!
Went to Webber Pond to relax and do a little fishing. No disappointments in any way. The cottage is just as promised. Ed Pineau is very accommodating and a gracious host. The cottage was clean and comfortable. We brought our boat and the dock was fine. The fishing was pretty good too! Got out to a few of the local eating places and managed to take in a movie also. Proximity to Augusta for shopping etc., is easy. All in all a great stay. Just may do it again next summer. A personal note of "Thanks" to Ed and Cate.
Lovely Little Gem on Webber Pond
Just back from a truly wonderful week at Ed and Cate's camp on Webber Pond. We had a fantastic stay. The camp is very clean and nicely appointed. We loved sleeping on the porch and hearing the Loons sing. The view is beyond words. We kept the windows open the entire visit. My dog enjoyed running and swimming. Very quiet locale....I was able to rest my soul. Stores and restaurants within 20 minute drive. Easy access to the interstate. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Beautiful location, great fishing, great wildlife, Ed and Cate could not have been nicer.
Lovely Maine cabin faces the eastern sunrise over the lake. if you like loons. they sing nightly.
This was a really lovely experience. Ed and Kate are great landlords, helpful but not intrusive. The cabin was clean, neat with comfortable furniture. It easily sleeps 4adults and 2 or 3 kids. Left great reads, canoe, row boat, and kayaks for tenant use. A great golf course half a mile away. Everything you need for a full summer vacation.
Close to Augusta and shopping needs. Close I95 makes easy access to all of Maine. Only downside, no cell phone service but good internet for those who use VOIP. I look forward to repeating this summer experience!!!
