Two family home in the heart of downtown Grand Haven. Close to restaurants, shopping, the boardwalk, and THE BEACH! An ideal location in the city. Each unit is two bedroom, one bath, living room, and eat in kitchen. Lower unit has a nice covered deck, large living room, new kitchen and appliances and 2 bedrooms and bath..Upper unit has a charming sun porch, cozy eat-in kitchen, spacious bedrooms, a sitting room, bath, and hardwood floors in the living room. Each unit sleeps 6. It is listed as sleeping 12 as well for those looking to stay together with another party. This is a very popular rental for large families or groups.
I grew up in Grand Haven and have raised my family here. I love the pier and beach and all the activities Grand Haven has to offer

this house was bought for it's charm and location. Even though I have updated things, it still has the feel of yesteryear.
My family and I visited GH for a week in the summer. This is a great little cottage/apartment, close to everything. Plenty big for our family of 6. The owner was very hospitable and helpful. Definitely a great place for the money spent.
This was a very reasonable price for a great location. No frills or amenities such as a dishwasher or laundry machines, but there is plenty of sleeping room, kitchen space (2 of them!) and hot water. The little deck is charming, and we were able to use a little Weber grill outside. The beds were comfortable and clean. The landlord was very nice and accommodating, and I hope we can work with her again.
This place was perfect to stay in for a family of three. Only a few minute walk to the downtown area and a close drivable distance to the beach. The landlord was very nice and went out of her way to work with us. I highly recommend this property.
My girlfriend and I decided to stay in a summer rental because of the lack of hotels downtown and by the beach. We had a great time walking to all the restaurants downtown and not having to drive on the 4th. We stayed in the upstairs unit, the home was older, painted nicely and taken care of. We would stay here again.
We were a party of 6 , 4 adults and 2 teenagers. I have rented off online sights many times and am not new to the process. I am also a maintenance professional.
Plus's : Price was good. 2 block's from the board walk and down town , restaurant's, shops, Bars. beach and pier 1.5 miles away we walked and drove, state park sticker or P on plate required. unit was clean with linens. Coffee maker no microwave, owners were available by phone and in person if needed. Very easy to deal with and friendly . I stay in GH 4 to 7 nights every year for over 20yrs now and love the area.
Negatives: This is a very old home in need of updating I didn't expect a 3+ star house.
Confusing add 2 units on one listing thought I was getting sleeping for 10 ended up with sleeping for 6. 4 family members had to make other arraignments.
Was told the unit had AC , there was no AC on 2nd floor unit thankfully it was not a hot weekend for August not a huge deal, I did buy a fan for our stay. It was a boarder line problem, only a few windows with screens.
Trim and finishes are old and incomplete I could see into the walls along the floor no shoe moldings and in bathroom around mirror , There is a deck on the back but overgrown and not updated. Only on street or offsite parking available fairly close but not onsite. I did not make a big deal out of any of this or complain and enjoyed Grand Haven. This house could be very nice with some work done to it.
I would not rent again unless there is AC and finishes are completed on interior.
Located in the heart of the downtown district. Famous Musical Fountain is 2 blocks away. There is a splash pad at the end of Jackson Street on Harbor Drive. The farmer's market, mini golf, ice cream, marinas, charter boats are there as well. All the downtown shopping and restaurants are on main street a block away. The pier and beach are about a mile down the board walk that starts at the end of the street 2 blocks away.
