Welcome to our mountain home. If you are looking for a quiet, secluded getaway spot with access to the great outdoors, a 10 minute drive to to North Conway and 15-45 minutes to White Mountain Skiing resorts, then this is the place.
Located in Eaton Village, the home features 3 full bedrooms plus a sleeping loft. It also has great entertaining space both inside the living room and screened in porch. For family entertainment, there is a bright, open family room. There is also a built in speaker system that you can plug your iPhone into and flatscreen tv for watching movies (no cable TV).
Separate studio cottage (2 additional beds with no bathroom) is available as well for an additional $75.00 per night.
The house sits on 18 acres with trails and is located just 3 miles from beautiful Crystal Lake and its private beach which you will have access to as a renter. In addition, there are tons of hiking trails nearby for all skill levels, including Mt. Foss, a great family day hike with views of the surrounding Mount Washington Valley into Maine.
The house is stocked with everything you will need and is very easy to maintain, with plenty of storage space for all your gear.
This lovely, comfortable home was the perfect place to spend a week with extended family. The kitchen was adequately equipped for cooking for ourselves, the beds comfortable, the setting gorgeous, and the general location perfect for hiking and blueberry picking. I would recommend it highly!
Our family had a wonderful summer vacation based out of this home - it was spotlessly clean, well-appointed with everything we needed, and a cozy place to read and relax after our small children went to bed each night. We could not have had a more comfortable stay and loved taking advantage of the lake pass and picking blueberries on top of Foss mountain. It's also an easy (60-90 minute) drive to Portland ME, Mount Washington, and more lakes, swimming holes, and trails than we had time to explore in our trip. We hope to be back next summer! The owner was extremely responsive and helped make our stay easy.
This place was great! We originally were intending to just take a quiet getaway to cut ourselves off from the hustle and bustle of work and the city, but we ended up going into Conway quite a bit to do touristy things as well. It's just the right distance from town to feel secluded but not so far that we'd loathe having to make the drive. The beds and couches were comfortable, the scenery is great, and the owner is very helpful and thoughtful. Looking forward to coming here again!
I rented this house for a get-away weekend with friends and family and it was a perfect fit. The property was very well maintained, amenities were easy to find and in good working order, and the kitchen cabinets were easy to navigate. We all recently watched Chef's Table and wanted a weekend to do nothing but cook, craft and relax. That being said, we spent a lot of time cooking outdoors over the fire pit in the backyard, sitting around the indoor fire place and lounging about in the numerous chairs and couches. There is ample room throughout the three floors to accommodate lots of activities, from sewing to reading and even napkin making. The house, and surrounding property, is incredibly picturesque if you are photographically (read: instagram) inclined. I think this house would also be great to visit during the summer, especially with the proximity of the local lake and screened in porch out back. The owner was very communicative and even checked up to see if we arrived alright since we drove in after midnight.
We absolutely loved this property! It was the perfect spot for our family of five. From enjoying the view around the breakfast table to snuggling in after a big day of skiing, the house never failed to be warm and inviting. The house itself was extremely well appointed and clean yet comfortable and not fussy. The girls really enjoyed the basement gameroom and we are now searching for a used foosball table! We also loved the location. Thank you for a lovely visit, we hope to return.
We shared a wonderful weekend at this secluded cabin; the location made it feel like a true getaway, but Conway/North Conway are very close for all the skiing and hiking, dining, etc. The cabin was spotlessly clean, well stocked, and tastefully appointed. It was also very modern (new construction) with passive solar heating and lots of glass windows to look out onto nature. There were only 4 of us, but it could have slept twice that without any trouble. The wood stove gave off loads of needed warmth after a winter hike up Mt. Adams.
It snowed the first night, and a plow truck was out to do the drive by the morning and was so quick we didn't even see him get out to shovel the walkways.
The owner did a great job of communicating and answering all our pre-trip questions. My only remaining question is how she keeps the rate that low. If you're thinking about booking, I would before the rates go up. It's a steal at present!
