The house is centrally located to Historical Downtown, Restaurants, Shopping and 1 block to some of the best East Beaches on the Island. The Pleasure Pier is 11 blocks away. A skate park is 13 blocks away. The Ferry dock is 4 miles away. Just many things to do.

Why Brenda Hesch chose San Jacinto

As a child we came to the beach every weekend. The beach has always been in myself. We seen this house on Good Friday of 1992 and that was our beginning of our beach house.

What makes this house unique

We have always loved the view from the deck. If you sit in the chair in the house and leave the door open you can see the water. The house has arches which gives character to the house.

Perfect getaway home

Loved this place, very well equipped, great location and Brenda was great. Internet and AT&T worked great so I could work. A block from a wonderful beach. The home was very comfortable and quaint. Loved the gated deck. We will return. The pups loved it!!!

One block from the beach!

Once I arrived at this place for a weekend with family, it was so hard to believe that I had been able to snag it just days before. Location from the beach is ideal - just one block away - which makes watching the sunrise super easy. The outdoor deck is great for gathering with friends or family. My family and I spent most of our time out on it, getting to watch the area and meet other nearby visitors. Our time spent inside, though brief, was also very pleasant, as everything was well-kept and clean, with all the amenities you could want (including a great little jar of candy!). The location from area restaurants and local highlights is also ideal - nothing too far away. If you are looking for a great place for the weekend, go no further!

Great home for a couple vacation!

My wife and myself had a blast! The house location is great as the beach is right in walking distance, and has a great front porch view of it. The living room is cozy, and the kitchen is just the right size for cooking up a homey meal. We loved our stay as it was a mini-honeymoon for us which this home was perfect for! Thank you for letting us stay the weekend.

Second Stay

The home was just as beautiful as our first stay. The kitchen is well equipped with anything necessary to prepare a snack or great meal. There is a gas grill available for guest use. We enjoyed sitting on the beach with the beach umbrella, chairs and beach towels provided. Also the view of the gulf from the front porch is beautiful. Close to great restaurants and walking distance to Pleasure Pier. We will be back! Thanks, Brenda!

Best place to stay on the Island

Very nice 2 bedroom (with awesome beds) and spacious living areas. 1/2 block from the beach with great beach views and you can hear the ocean. Amazing sunrise views from the balcony. This is our second stay at Sand & Serenity. We rented one other home (only because this was booked) but prefer to stay here. Brenda goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome and at home as soon as you step in the door. Best place to stay when you want to relax without the crowds.

Nearest Ferry

Galveston Ferry to Bolivar Peninsula.

Many Mansions that give tours daily. Have an old fashion Malt drink at the oldest drugstore in Galveston, The Star in the Strand area. In the Historical Downtown you can take a Horse Carriage Ride while you shop.
