This beautifully furnished and renovated 2-bedroom, 2-bath, back-unit home is located on Balboa Island just 1 block from the beach and the Balboa Island Ferry. A rare find on the Island, it offers vaulted ceilings, air conditioning, inside laundry, an outdoor patio, and a two-car garage. The home was completely refurnished in May of 2014 and shows like a model. Equipped with all the amenities a family or couple would want when enjoying a vacation in this charming island paradise.
The master suite offers a king bed, luxurious towels and sheets, a walk-in closet and flat-screen TV. The second bedroom has 2 full beds, high quality linens, a generous closet, dresser and its own flat-screen TV.
The living room has two large sofas and plenty of movies, books and games to enjoy during your stay. The dining room seats 6, and a charming private patio is great for morning coffee, afternoon cocktails, or dinner, and includes a gas-fired grill.

Could have been cleaner
The location is perfect. The floors were dirty when we arrived. The bathroom sink was not clean. The shower door at base was moldy. One of the lights in the bathroom was out and the smoke alarm beeped due to low battery which we fixed.

Nice 2 bedroom back unit on Balboa Island. It was a perfect place for my husband and I for a month. While the unit could use a coat of fresh paint and some updated appliances, the decor was nice, and the place was clean. The beds were extremely comfortable and the owner very accommodating. A plumbing problem was repaired in one day. We would definitely stay in the unit again. The unit has its own washer and dryer and car port, important!!
Excellent location and very nice Owner's!
We flew in from Salt Lake City for our son's eye surgery at UCI and needed a nice centrally located place for him to recover for a few days. It was really nice to be able to access the ferry and walk to shops and restaurants or just stroll around the island. The place was very comfortable and clean and the neighbors were nice as well. We went out or picked up dinners at one of the many surrounding restaurants and it was all great! Stephanie was very kind and accommodating and a wonderful owner. Thank you so much!!
A Dream "Stay"cation
My husband and I are locals, and needed a place to stay while work was being done on our home. Although we are familiar with Balboa Island, we were thrilled to experience it as tourists and residents do. We had such an enjoyable time, we plan to do it again! The best part about it was the comfortable and beautifully furnished rental, which is surely in one of the best locations on the island. Balboa Island itself, is centrally located to all of the wonderful activities in the southern coastal area. We highly recommend a stay at this property for visitors and locals alike!
Perfect Balboa Getaway
We stayed here for 5 nights back in March and loved every minute of our Balboa staycation. The unit itself was in great condition and perfect for our family of four. Another family rented the front home so we were able to mingle between the two and it made a very fun and relaxing weekend. Tons of space and extras and the owners were very responsive and helpful throughout the whole process. Honestly we use VRBO on a frequent basis and to me this was one of the best values and locations on all of Balboa island. You will not be disappointed!

Summer rentals are Saturday to Saturday and require a 7-night stay. Off-season rentals available with a 4-night minimum. Additional fees are 10% bed tax and $125 cleaning fee.
