About Jimmy Y. C. Fok

My wife and I are Swiss citizens living in beautiful but land-locked Switzerland. We have lived, worked and traveled all over the world. Following my retirement, we sought to escape the severe winter months by having a home in a warmer climate, with the sun and the sea, so what we have now is our home-away-from-home, and we have furnished it as such.

Why Jimmy Y. C. Fok chose West Oahu

We originally bought a Moonflower condo unit facing the 'Hammock Grove', which we thoroughly enjoyed for over 10 years, but have decided to upgrade to a more spacious townhouse in early 2014. We hope tenants will enjoy our island home as much as we do, and that it will make your vacation on the island a pleasantly memorable one, so that you'll want to keep coming back.

We found Ko Olina Resort quite by chance, when CP was just starting construction in 2001. We fell in love with the resort, because of the lovely, quiet swimming lagoons, the lush tropical ambiance of the resort, and the plantation building style of Coconut Plantation, surrounded by well-maintained tropical landscaping.

What makes this villa unique

This vacation home is situated at the boundary of Coconut Plantation to the adjoining Ko Olina Kai estate, next to the townhouse is a tropical garden-like green, with palm trees, perfect for families with kids looking to relax, as well as, couples and groups of friends who want close proximity to golfing and many other nearby sights. Our villa has 2 large lanais with well-equipped lanai furniture ( incl. BBQ gas grill), perfect for outdoors gatherings. It is also just steps away to the 'Hidden Spa' and to the main 'Ocean Pool'. We are a short walking distance to the lagoons, as well as, Ko'Olina Station restaurants. We are also in close proximity to all the many other activities the resort has to offer (e.g. the Paradise Cove Luau is walking distance plus the Ko'Olina Resort hosts a championship Ted Robinson golf course, a world class health spas,a world class health spas, wedding chapels and a 43 acre marina with access to many ocean activities including snorkeling and wildlife viewing cruises.

After taking possession of this townhouse in February 2014, we replaces all household appliances (e.g. cooker, dishwasher, refrigerator, laundry machines etc.) with new ones. The entire flooring of the upstairs area has been resurfaced in wood, including the staircase. Further refurbishments are planned and will be implemented gradually.

Excellent in every way

Contact with the owner and rental property manager and staff was prompt and easy, handled everything via email. Property and amenities were exactly as listed in the description of the property. Location to Ko Olina lagoons, leisurely stroll 12 minutes to get to the beach from the property. Loved the outdoor grill on the lanai. Property had everything we needed to grill out, beach toys, towels, snorkel gear, you name it, this place had it. We absolutely could not have been happier with the property. We almost never do anything without being able to read reviews, but this property was worth taking a chance on, and it was absolutely worth it. Family of 5, 3 kids - 5, 7 and 9, and they absolutely loved the place. I would (and already have) recommend this property to friends, co workers and family. We had never stayed at Ko Olina before, but for working at nearby Schofield barracks, it was an easy drive, and there is little to no traffic in that area of the island. After a few trips down to Waikiki, we focused all of our sightseeing/beach time at either Ko Olina or North shore. Waikiki is BEYOND overcrowded, and this property gets you away from that. Summary - awesome property, awesome property managers, could not be happier with our stay.

3. There is an Electricity cap of $250. Any excessive usage will be deducted from the Security Deposit.

if cancelled with more than 90 days notice. If cancelled with less notice, the deposit is non-refundable, unless the cancellation is due to a medical condition.
