This beautifully furnished and renovated 3-bedroom, 3-bath, front-unit home is located on Balboa Island just 1 block from the beach and the Balboa Island Ferry. A rare find on the Island, it offers vaulted ceilings, air conditioning, inside laundry, an outdoor patio, and a two-car garage. The home was completely refurnished in May of 2014 and shows like a model. Equipped with all the amenities a family or pair of families would want when enjoying a vacation in this charming island paradise.
The master suite offers a king bed, luxurious towels and sheets, a walk-in closet and flat-screen TV. The second bedroom has a queen bed, high quality linens, a generous closet, dresser and its own flat-screen TV. Downstairs is the “bunk room,” featuring a double, full-size bunk bed, a twin bed, flat-screen TV, and walk-in closet. Comfortably sleeps 5 kids!
The living room has two large sofas and plenty of movies, books and games to enjoy during your stay. The dining room seats 8. The spacious front patio is great for morning coffee, afternoon cocktails, or dinner for 8, and includes a gas-fired grill.

Great location, wonderful house, responsive owners
House was as listed. Very clean, great location close to water ferry. Owners were very responsive when we had a question. Loved the house and will stay there again in the future. Thanks!!
We loved our stay inn Balboa Island. The home is in a great location and nicely remodeled.
Convenient, charming, clean and plenty of space for larger groups.
The house was clean and included everything needed for a wonderful stay. The location is convenient to the ferry to Balboa pier and beyond and close to shops on the Main Street. Convenient also to major freeways on it was fairly easy to get to Disneyland and Los Angeles. There was plenty of room for four 15 year old girls and two adults. We felt very safe during the day and night.
One of the best rentals on the island!
My family stayed in this property for a few months during our remodel. We are local and have never rented on the island before. We absolutely loved the property as well as the owners! The home has everything you could possibly need during your stay and has enough space for up to two families. The home is clean, updated, and extremely comfortable. The location was perfect! Close enough to walk anywhere but far enough away from the crowds. We loved being able to walk to dinner, play on the bay and the kids loved taking the ferry across to the fun zone. I can be very perticular about where I stay on my vacation and this home exceeded my expectations. The owners are extremely helpful and easy to communicate with. We can't wait to plan another staycation to Balboa island!
Everything about the stay was perfect.
The unit was very clean and every aspect about it was great. The owner/manager is very professional and cordial. We have a large family and had two units rented through VRBO on the island for the week. They were within two blocks If one another. The island and the residents are wonderful. The proximity to all that is needed, stores, restaurants, amusement parks, fun zone and the beach can not be beat for any age.
Walkable Newport Vacation
On the tiny island of Balboa, there sits a charming home that accommodated our group of women for 4 beautiful days. The home was clean, featured beautiful windows, and had an ample kitchen and living area. The instructions to the home were visible in the home, and also through email. Our hosts were close by in case we needed anything or had any questions. But, the best part of the home was it's location. We spent the morning taking walks around the perimeter of the island, and walks into "town" where we tried different breakfast spots. We could walk over to the ferry and catch a ride over to the peninsula to grab dinner and see the beach, or we could walk up the bridge to Newport to go shopping and try their lunch spots. The only time we used the car was to head to Laguna Beach for the day. Definitely stay here!
