About Meredith Steere
Our family has been vacationing here and on the Delaware shores for years. We love Lewes for the beach and the historic town. It's a bit more low key than the surrounding resort areas.
Meredith Steere purchased this Townhome in 2014
Why Meredith Steere chose Lewes
This property is east of Rt 1 and within walking distance of the town and its amenities. It's a new home. The house has a great floor plan with an upstairs loft area and downstairs open living area. If you like to cook, this has a well stocked kitchen with upgraded appliances, good counter space, lots of cooking utensils. Or you can avail yourselves of the terrific restaurants in town and the surrounding area. If it should happen to rain (hopefully not), there is the Cinema close by and of course there is plenty of shopping. Although we are not big golfers, there are many golf courses around. And if needed Beebe hospital is very close by. There is a wonderful small grocery store in town (Lloyd's) that seems to carry everything. It's hard to believe so much can fit in such a small space. They have the best summer peaches! And there's a lovely winery nearby for tastings and picnics. AND a terrific Saturday and Wednesday morning Farmer's Market. Just a reminder that you need to bring sheets and towels (to the house, not the winery!) and that there are showers only in the bathrooms (no tubs).
