Welcome to the Westside Village Annex, your home away fro home. A beautiful vacation home created and personally managed by Jill and Larry Papa, owners of Westside Village Vacation Homes. This home was designed as a special place for your special time in Bend. We travel all over and stay in many VRBO’s… We understand what makes the most comfortable and enjoyable stay…details ! And we have paid attention to each and every one. Creating a special indoor and outdoor experience for our guests.
This beautiful home is located in the Downtown / Westside Village. Approximately four blocks to Drake Park and Downtown. One block to the Galveston Brewery neighborhood. One block from the road to Mt. Bachelor.
WHY ' THE ANNEX ' ?
This beautiful 3 bedroom home is the partner to our large 2450 square foot four bedroom home (VRBO # 490942) just two blocks up the same street. Between the two we can accommodate 16 people.
This home, in the Summer of 2014, has undergone a complete designer “makeover – remodel” with a Modernist, Mid-Century inspired theme. Complete with private and open spaces, all new appliances, instant hot water tap, new bathrooms, furniture, paint, gardens, hot tub, and fire pit... Absolutely nothing has been over looked and it has all been created with detailed design and function.
This 1170 Sq. Ft. home is located on Bend’s Westside, exactly where you want to be to experience Bend. Walking distance to downtown, Drake Park, the Deschutes River, Newport Market, Safeway, 10 Barrel Brewery, Longboard Louie’s, The Lot, Old Mill, and the list goes on. There are so many cool – trendy – eclectic eateries and shops that you won’t be able to enjoy them all. Bend's famous Bend “Beer Trail' surrounds the home. Bike lanes and bike paths are everywhere. easy access to All mountain bike and river trails. Park your car when you arrive and never use it until you leave.
This home has been impeccably re-created with a “ FAB ” Mid-Century theme. The yard is private and securely fenced. There are large trees, lawn, and shrubs. Covering the back deck is a large timber framed patio covered for outdoor activities, uniquely designed to enjoy morning sun and afternoon shade. Surrounding the deck are beautiful ' Sunbrella ' curtains.
This home sleeps six people. Three bedrooms… The Master bedroom has a king size bed with high quality foam mattress and private bath. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and high quality pillow top mattress. The the third bedroom / office has a new queen size Murphy bed that folds away so the room can double as an office. There is a second full bathroom in the center of the house.
DINING, LIVING ROOM, AND KITCHEN
The dining / Living room is an open floor plan, designed with families or a small groups in mind for comfortable, interactive, meals and visiting. The dining room seats six, and has a beautiful walnut breakfast bar that seats two. The kitchen has all new appliances including a Keurig coffee maker, Belgium waffle maker, exquisite knives, silverware, dishes, pots and pans, microwave and new quartz counter tops. There is an instant hot water tap at the sink. The living room has vaulted ceilings, big screen TV with Cable, DVD, and Netflix. The furniture is modern and comfortable. Beautiful MOD art decorates the walls throughout the home.
Step outside the dining room to the large beautiful covered, curtained deck. There is a new Weber gas grill and a table with seating for six. Beautiful evening ' mood-scape ' lighting, a new hot tub (we change the water and filter between each guest so it’s always clean and sanitary). A new propane fire pit with 4 chairs surrounding it. There is parking for one car in the garage, 2 cars in the driveway, and two in the front. Plenty storage area in the garage for bikes and gear.
We include high speed cable internet, Bluetooth Bose speaker for your personal music, and a green funky radio. There is a second television in the Murphy bedroom, NETFLIX included. We supply bar soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, curling iron, down comforters, and very high quality, high count linens... including towels and washcloths. You can unpack and put your clothes in one of our many dressers and closets or set them on a luggage holder that is in each bedroom. There is a large full length mirror in every bedroom. The kitchen has a gas stove complete with everything, including spices, that a gourmet chef may need.
We aim to make each visit special, a bottle of wine or a six pack of beer awaits you upon arrival and Waffle mix with maple syrup is there for your first morning breakfast. Wheelchair ramps are available upon request. If you need something special, just ask…we will do our best to make this your dream get-away. We provide two nice cruiser bicycles.

BEND'S GOOD NEIGHBOR GUIDELINES:
1. 24-hour contact information will be posted in residence if you have any concerns about your stay.
2. Have general respect for neighbors. Be friendly & courteous & respect the neighbors and their property.
3. Noise. Be considerate & Quiet especially after 10PM.
4. Maintenance of property. Pick up after yourself & keep the property clean, presentable & free of trash.
5. Garbage Disposal. Place trash & recycling containers directly in front of house. Return bins to rear of house within 12 hours after pick up. No smoking is allowed on or around premises.
6. Parking. A parking diagram is posted in the house. Park on site whenever possible. Do not block driveways, sidewalks, alleys or mailboxes. Drive slowly in the neighborhoods & watch for pedestrians & children playing.
7. Pets. No Pets are allowed on our property.
8. Guests Responsibility. Approved guests & visitors are expected to follow these guidelines. Read the rental agreement for additional terms & restrictions which may include consequences for violating the Good Neighbor Guidelines.
