A wonderful stay!

  • 5 of 5

This is wonderful, comfortable, peaceful and seriously cool rental home. The unique layout includes a lot of space with each room - and each room features a unique & inviting ambience. Comfy bed & great shower! Plus the location can't be beat if you want to explore a wide variety of restaurants & shops. I only wish I had more time to check out the many vintage shops nearby. Thank you Jeanine & John for a great stay! *Recommend Kowalski's Market at 5327 Lyndale - lovely small grocery and be sure to check out their bakery & the ginger cookies!

Cozy, comfortable, awesome location!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay. We felt like we were home. Amenities were perfect. I had to work for few days of our stay, and wifi was great. My favorite was the kitchen. Love the pots and pans. Apt is very tastefully decorated. For folks with young kid, the second bedroom would work great. It has a twin bed in addition to the queen bed. Good amount of dresser and wardrobe storage for longer stays. Some very good restaurants in walking distances. Quick access to Lake Harriet and Lake Calhoun which connects to more lakes and river pathway (Grand Rounds) for long distance runners and riders. Will definitely like to stay here in our future Minneapolis visits.

Great home base in south Minneapolis

  • 5 of 5

Loved our one week stay at the Sylvan retreat. Reasonably priced, very clean and well equipped second floor of house. On street parking worked fine, only had to park across the street once, otherwise were right in front of the house. Fully equipped kitchen with full sized refrigerator, gas stove. Comfortable beds, nice sitting room and living room in addition to dining room. Big shower. Lovely french bakery a couple blocks south and plenty of other restaurants in the neighborhood. Short walk to Lakes Harriet and Calhoun. Would definitely stay again.

Great location, comfortable, good hosts.

  • 4 of 5

Very near Mpls bike paths and chain of lakes. We enjoyed the area!

We tend to eat lunch late, so many of the nearby restaurants were closed at around 2:00, so we didn't get a chance to sample them.

Comfortable accommodations.
