What makes this condo unique

We fell in love with Lake Forest because of the amazing lake and mountain views. Rainbows are special to us and we see them frequently over the lake. While enjoying coffee on the deck watching the sunrise, we often see eagles soaring over Giberson Bay.

One of the many unique features of our unit is NO-STAIR access. This is a huge benefit when carrying in many suitcases, groceries or when arriving back from a long day's adventure. This access accommodates small children or anyone that may have limited mobility.

Wonderful location, beautiful home!

  • 4 of 5

We were very pleased with our stay at this home. The owner was fabulous to work with and the management staff was friendly and helpful. We had an issue with no water pressure in the master bathroom which happened on our last day there, unfortunately didn't have time to get it fixed that night. But owner and management were very quick to respond and apologize. One issue we had was with the hot tubs as well, out of the three only one was working, one was locked (for 4 days) and the other didn't have hot water! One other thing I did notice were the comforters were not cleaned, but towels and other bedding looked good.

The home is beautiful, has a wonderful view and was very comfortable. Would definitely stay again! The owner was absolutely fabulous!

Excellent Location and Views

  • 4 of 5

We stayed here for our Christmas vacation and it was a very nice place. Perfect size for our family of 5. We loved watching the snow fall from the large balcony. The master bedroom had an amazing view of the mountains to wake up to and a more private balcony as well. The Kitchen was nicley upgraded and had the essentials stocked up. There were flat screens in every room, which the kids loved. Gas fireplace was super easy to use. Everything was very clean when we arrived. The beds were extremely FIRM. We found them to be uncomfortable but some people may like that. (Thats the reason for only 4 stars) It was a 5 min drive to walmart, Safeway and a few fast food places. Overall it was a nice stay and we loved the city of frisco.

Beautiful town, beautiful home, breathtaking views!

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved our stay here. Not only was the home super cozy and welcoming but the views from both rooms and living room were out of this world. We are very happy with the response from Ann Marie, we requested an extended checkout time and she was very helpful in getting that approved for us. We would most definitely book here again!

Autumn in the Rocky Mountains

  • 5 of 5

This was the perfect vacation getaway. The condo was beautiful and very well furnished. We had everything we needed right at our fingertips. The owner was very attentive and checked in with us several times to make sure we had everything we needed. The view from the deck was beautiful and changed everyday with the lake, mountains, sunsets and sunrise, golden aspens, and even some mountain top snow a couple of days. The autumn weather was perfect and the aspens were at their peak. The location is very good for day trips into the mountains and surrounding areas. We rode the Gondola in Breckenridge, rode the train in Georgetown, went to the movies two times, went into the Rocky Mountain National Park twice, picnicked three or four times in the surrounding area, and of course, went to the outlet mall in Silverthorne. Overall, it was one of the most enjoyable vacations we have every experienced. We look forward to returning in the near future.

Great Condo, Great Scenery, Great Location

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I have been vacationing in the Colorado Mountains during Labor Day week for 23 years. We just returned from staying at the Stokes Lake Forest Condo over the past week. One of our best weeks ever in the Rockies! When you walk into the condo the first thing you see is the view from the balcony. A 180 degree view of the Dillon Reservoir and the mountain range beyond, just spectacular! The condo appeared newly remodeled and very clean. Everything we needed to enjoy our week we found in the condo. The two bedrooms were spacious and the two full bathrooms very nice. There is a garage that was large enough for our SUV and two bikes and the bike rack. It was nice to have them in a garage and not have to bring them into the condo as we do when there is no garage.

The condo location just outside Frisco, CO is very convenient to everything in Summit County. In Keystone we rented a paddle boat at the marina and explored the lake. In Silverthorne / Dillon we patronized the outlet mall shops. In Breckenridge we rode the gondola from the downtown parking lot and enjoyed the activities at Peak 8 and also took in the Breckenridge October Fest. We traveled on the Leadville Railroad to view the marvelous scenery. We also biked on the path just across the street from the condo that leads to Keystone, Dillon / Silverthorne, Frisco, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain and if you like, Vail. We also took advantage of several of the hiking trails in the area. Dillon Reservoir is directly across the street from the condo and we could see sailboats, canoes, paddle boards and fishermen all enjoying the lake. We also had our obligatory hamburger and beer from the Dam Brewery in Dillon. And then we ran out of vacation time!

I think you probably get the idea that we really enjoyed the Lake Forest Condo and we hope to return soon!

Nice Condo, very clean, but....

  • 3 of 5

Great location, wonderful views, very comfortable condo……but there are a few issues. Our main reason to stay in Frisco was to bike the variety of passes. In the evenings we wanted to cook dinner and enjoy the start of college football. Two of the three TV’s failed to work, and we were not going to all sit in one of the bedrooms to watch the only working TV. In addition the WIFI failed to work; thus, this was also a disappointment. Another issue was the electronic lock on the front door failed to work properly. When we were inside the condo and overnight, we could use the dead bolt to lock the door; but when we would leave for rides, we could not lock the door -- anyone could walk in. Luckily nothing happened as it is a very safe area, but just the thought of the condo being unlocked was unsettling. One last issue was the dishwasher. It leaked on the floor, and we were concerned about the unit below. I will say we did call the property management number and spoke with them shortly after we discovered the Comcast and door lock issues. The response of “you will need to call Comcast” was not our favorite answer. However, she did come over the afternoon of the following day to give us a key to manually lock the door. We would consider renting this unit again; but there should be a plan to more quickly address issues even if it is a weekend night. Dino
