About the Property

3 Bedrooms, 1 Bathrooms, 5 Sleeps

Here’s your opportunity to relax and unwind in our cozy country home, conveniently located in the heart of the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. The Miller’s House, just minutes from downtown Luray, is perfect for couples, families or small groups of up to five. Come and enjoy the charm of this 1800’s farmhouse, recently restored to include all the modern conveniences.

This home, which sits behind the historic Willow Grove Mill, was originally built in the 1800’s for the miller and his family. In the 1700’s this area was called Mundlesville and was the center of local activity before the town of Luray was established. One mile south of Luray, the Miller’s House nestles into the quiet rural setting of the valley. Pastureland, with cows grazing, frames a lovely view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. A small rippling creek flows from the back of the property to feed into the Hawksbill Creek.

You will not be roughing it when you stay in this 2-story farmhouse. The house is immaculately maintained and tastefully decorated. The Miller’s house has the original pine flooring throughout, a large kitchen, laundry room and a fabulous screened in porch. The family room, with cable/DVD, master bedroom, and full bath are downstairs. Two additional bedrooms are upstairs. One room includes two twin beds and across the hall, you’ll find a double bed with TV.
The house has wifi as well.
