After a day’s adventure, hiking, river rafting, mountain biking, golfing, visiting the national parks, or exploring the scenic wonders of the Moab area in an off-road vehicle, relax in our desert retreat featuring all of the comforts of home. Desert Song is a beautiful, two-story townhome with gorgeous red rock views, in a quiet residential neighborhood and is just minutes from downtown Moab. Sleeps 6. Maximum occupancy is 6, including at least one adult 25 or older. Infants are included in determining the occupancy count.

Prepare gourmet meals in the fully equipped kitchen with all stainless steel appliances, wood cabinetry, and granite counter tops. Dine inside in the open concept kitchen/living area or outside on the spacious adjoining wrap around patio with a natural-gas BBQ grill. After dinner, take in the red rock views of the Moab Rim and sunset on the upper deck--then tarry to stargaze and enjoy the wonder of a Moab sky. Or, relax on the patio in the private hot tub.

The first floor master bedroom has a king size bed, dresser, end tables, chair, large flat screen TV, and walk in closet. A full bathroom adjoins the master bedroom. After a restful night’s sleep, enjoy your morning coffee from your private access patio while seated at the bistro table for two.

On the second floor, there are two bedrooms. One bedroom has a king-size bed, sofa, dresser, end tables, chair, and large flat screen TV and roomy closet. The other bedroom on the second floor has a king-size bed, love seat, dresser with mirror, end tables, large flat screen TV, and a closet. A full bathroom serves both bedrooms on the second floor. The private deck is easily accessed by guests in both bedrooms.

The living room and kitchen area are open concept and include two couches, end tables, a coffee table, and a large flat screen TV. Entertaining is a breeze with the fully equipped kitchen featuring dinner and glassware service for 12.

The one car garage, with interior access to the townhome, has ample storage. There is ample room for bicycles in the garage, along with some rags and a hose on the side of the house for your use.

The townhome is very clean and decorated in a relaxed, Southwestern style --guaranteed to soothe and help our guests unwind and enjoy all of the beauty the Moab area has to offer. Just across the road from the Moab Golf course and just 10 minutes from the heart of Moab.

Desert Song is part of the Rocky Mountain Power Blue Sky program where power is purchased from renewable resources (wind, solar).

NO ATVs, UTVs, Gators, Razrs, mini bikes, motorcycles, dirt bikes, trail bikes, motorized scooters, motorized children’s cars, drones, remote controlled devices, or other noisy conveyances or machines are allowed on the property in order to preserve the peace, tranquility, and natural beauty of Desert Song. If you choose to bring any of the above motorized machines, they must be kept at all times on Westwater Road, adjacent to the property, when at Desert Song.

About Colleen S. Kennedy

Tom and Colleen are the only couple ever married at the 'Riders of the Purple Sage' church in Moab from the movie of the same name. Many classic westerns, as well as numerous other blockbusters (e.g., Indiana Jones), have been filmed in the Moab area due to its scenic beauty. A trip to the nearby Film Museum at Red Cliffs Lodge is a must!

Having traveled the world and now semi-retired, Colleen as a professor and higher education administrator and Tom as a nurse practitioner, we look forward to welcoming guests who relish the adventure and appreciate all the beauty the Moab area has to offer.

We remodeled and furnished our townhome with the comfort of our guests in mind. Having traveled extensively, we appreciate a good night's sleep so we outfitted the townhome with top quality mattresses and luxury linens on each of our 3 king-size beds.

The kitchen was designed with a guest chef in mind, one who enjoys cooking on a full featured gas range with matching stainless appliances and granite counter tops. With the open concept kitchen/living area, the chef can easily socialize with friends and family.

Our cleaning service is highly regarded and prides itself on making your stay at Desert Song enjoyable.

The outdoor wrap around patio and the upstairs deck provide ample space to rest, relax, and enjoy the natural beauty that is Moab.

We are receptive to guests' requests and welcome your suggestions regarding any additional amenities we could provide to make your next visit with us even more pleasurable.

Beautiful, tranquil stay

We rented this town home last weekend and absolutely fell in love with it! It is state-of-the-art (including the kitchen) and very comfortable and large! The beds are super comfy and we enjoyed the hot tub every night. Colleen was very helpful during the booking process, and even had the camera power cord that we left behind mailed to us. Very sweet.

I highly recommend visiting Moab in the cooler months--in December we hiked with light jackets. There are no lines to get into the national parks and plenty of room in the local restaurants. It was a great trip.

We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Moab. Thanks!

5 of us girls came to Moab to run the Other 1/2 - we loved the condo - worked out great for us - far enough from town to enjoy the

quiet after a busy day but close enough to be a short drive into town. We loved the Hot Tub, and the beds and bedding were so comfortable,

love the nice appliances in the kitchen - overall - it was a wonderful stay - we were all sad to leave. Thank you

Absolutely perfect place

I will keep this brief. We rent a lot of vacation rentals. This one was probably the best. It had (in the order we encountered it): great parking, great furniture, excellent TV's/cable, the best kitchen amenities we've ever had in a rental, a fantastic hot tub, a very nice patio and deck, very comfortable King beds, and excellent climate control. Again, we rent places all the time for our crew, and this was just about a perfect rental.

Wonderful Moab stay

Together with another couple, my husband and I totally enjoyed our 5 night stay at Desert Song. The location was perfect for us: a quiet location out of the busyness of Moab yet close enough for easy access to restaurants etc. (be sure to reserve a night at Desert Bistro - fabulous food and well worth the expense) . The townhome was very clean and well appointed with a nicely equipped kitchen, ample common living areas, TV in most every room and great wifi ! Bedrooms are large, very comfortable and have lots of storage space. The complex is quiet and since Desert Song is an end unit, we enjoyed using both patios with nice views of the surrounding mountains! Plus we were delighted to discover that there were some amazing petroglyphs less than a quarter of a mile from the townhome. The pre arrival information was extremely clear and very helpful and we were glad to find lots of detailed information about Desert Song and the surrounding area available to us once there. We contacted Colleen once about a minor issue and she was immediately responsive and helpful. We were totally pleased with our Desert Song stay and found it the perfect restful location for our visit to the area! Highly recommend it!

Wonderful visit

Wonderful place to stay, the home was perfect to return to each day after a long day of hiking in Arches and Canyonlands. The hot tub was much needed and used nightly. The quiet community is a great alternative to downtown Moab. Only complaint was that we could not stay longer due to our limited # of vacation days....
