Close to beach and beautiful neighborhood....but the house is in a sad state of decay.
Needs a lot of updating. Very old....dusty...musty...and crumbling. The only saving grace is the location is fabulous.
Historic Villa Home
The house was amazing! My wife loves historic homes and this Spanish style home definitely qualified as one. Both the front courtyard and back yard are very private which was a major plus. The canal is large and easily accommodated our 21 foot Key Largo boat. The location was perfect for us heading out fishing every day. The families on the canal were extremely friendly as they passed by in the canal if we were sitting outside which we always were. Everyone always waved. One family coming in from fishing as we were heading out to fish offered us their left over bait. The laundry room was also large and increased the storage space for cartons of drinks, etc. I would recommend a recliner be added by the sofa for further comfort. The blow up mattress was also a plus in the 2nd bedroom. From the pictures of the Villa on HomeAway we brought a card table and 4 chairs so our Grandchildren could play games. We definitely recommend the house for others wanting to rent this lovely house.
Great location, lovely private courtyard, nicely equipped home.
We enjoyed our relaxing stay at the villa. Robert was very easy to contact and helpful. This home is a value in Long Boat Key.
Enjoyable retreat to a hectic schedule
Was in town for a soccer tournament and running in and out of games at the IMG fields. The villa was conveniently located close to the fields only 15 minute drive. Most importantly was that we were able to escape the hustle and retreat into the villa, relaxing after games and enjoying the beautiful home, surroundings and beaches. It was a very pleasant stay, and would do it again. The villa was close enough to everything and Roberts suggestions for meals and entertainment were right on. The Columbia restaurant was very good.
Peaceful and Excellent Location
Excellent location, serene surroundings, and tropical oasis feel. Minutes from a secluded beach and centrally located to Armand Circle, Ringling Museum, downtown Sarasota, Marie Selby Botanical Gardens and beautifully unique Anna Maria Island. We took in many pristine sunsets throughout the area and even used the nearby bird trail and lagoons to take in a sunrise. Robert was extremely accommodating and willing to extend himself in any way to ensure a perfect stay. In fact, he was the one that suggested many of the unique experiences we had!
Brandon we were delighted you vacationed at our house as well as taking advantage of the beach close by as well as the museums & restaurants. Your family is welcomed back. Thank you for your kind thoughts.
