Newport Beach is considered one of the best recreational beaches in the world! Our guests of this vacation rental are literally walking distance from all of the most popular destinations and conveniences, which is the perfect recipe for a memorable and enjoyable family vacation or holiday.
The downstairs Unit hosts 3 bedrooms, along with the full kitchen facilities, living room and large front patio. The unit comes with a washer & dryer in the home. This vacation home can affordably accommodate up to 8 guests.
PARKING: 2 tandem spaces in shared 4-car garage. Fits most vehicle sizes. Available nighborhood street parking can also be utilized (metered and non-metered).
Due to the moderate coastal climate, this house (like most in the area) DOES NOT have air conditioning.
This "Beachy" 3-bedroom/2 bathroom vacation home is located in the heart of of the Newport Beach Peninsula, just a few steps from great amenities & the BEACH!
Wonderful July week with our kids and grandkids at this Newport rental located in the heart of Newport within walking distance of beach, bay, the new Marina Park, Starbucks, Balboa Bars at the Newport Pier, burgers at 15th St and within biking distance to Pavilions Market, Balboa Fun Zone, Ferry and everything on the Peninsula.
This is a family-friendly unit, not luxurious, but exceptionally clean with good beds, good linens, large bathrooms, washer and dryer inside, and a fully furnished kitchen with plenty of dishes, a large coffeemaker, good sized sink and counter, casseroles, baking sheets, cutting boards and even good knives! Owners have also included thoughtful extra touches for the beach going family like outside shower and hose, safe places for sandy shoes and toys and towel hooks just outside the front door.
Parking at Newport is a real plus and this garage fit our rental minivan as well as our son’s 89 Chrysler 5th Ave both on our side of the garage. (Be forewarned that this is tandem parking on a steep slope and I was glad we did not have a stick shift to back out and up!) That said, biking is the way to go to avoid summer parking hassles and the rentals coordinated by Beachview arrived within an hour of our arrival: bikes, helmets, child seat, as well as beach chairs, portable crib and high chair. A family can hit the ground running with beach towels, chairs and sand toys, etc. ready and waiting and now that most of us arrive by plane, we truly appreciate these extras.
The only drawback of this unit is the location on the boulevard which is noisy, especially in the summer when you may need to have the windows open. Bedrooms relatively quiet with no one walking by the bedroom windows but lots of traffic on the street. Anytime but mid summer season, this would not be as much of an issue.
Check-in and Check-out was the smoothest we have ever had in over 30 years renting at the beach from many different agencies. Even though we were all arriving and picking up keys at the same time, I was in and out in less than 5 minutes and that included waiting to say thank-you to Connie and Megan! We had a similarly effortless experience renting last January with Beachview: they are the best.
Newport has been a family tradition for us for over 60 years and is still a wonderful family centered affordable destination with beautiful beaches and activities for all ages.
This property exceeded all expectations. It is located about 40 yards from the beach. The location of the house is amazing: you can walk to the beach in 1 minute, walk to restaurants in minutes, and walk to all the bars in less than 10 minutes.
The actual house has everything you would need.
