If an awesome ocean view and being CLOSE to the beach is important, to you, you will love our 3-Story Town house with 2 ocean view decks to sit and relax on or walk to the beach less than 200 feet away.
Our Town house is the North end unit of a 3 unit townhouse structure and ours has the best beach views of all 3 Town house's and the only one with a side yard.
The grass side yard has a fire pit exclusively for our guests with fixed benches and we enjoy it a lot for evening camp fires with our favorite beverages, or to roast hot dogs or smores and relax.
There's a small creek right next to our side yard that goes underneath the highway and flows right onto the beach. In the Winter, when the surf is high, the ocean actually rushes under the road at times and up the creek right next to us. It often brings logs up the creek and I've harvested a few for fire wood at times. It's vey cool!!!
After a day of playing at the beach, kick back in this well furnished open floor plan and visit with friends and family or simply relax and read a book from either deck with a Beach/Ocean view or enjoy a movie on one of the 3 flat screen TV's or build a fire in our fire pit located on the side yard.
Within a sort distance there are numerous stores and gift shops.
There are several restaurants in Rockaway and many more within a 15 minute drive or use our charcoal BBQ on the main floor deck while viewing the ocean.
In our opinion, there is nothing better than barbequing on the deck with a glass of wine looking at the beach and ocean less than 200 feet away.

About Dave Riggins
We were both raised on the Oregon coast and migrated to Portland 30+ years ago and always dreamed of having a beach house but never expected to have one this nice with this kind of view. We truly love it.
Dave Riggins purchased this Townhome in 2015
Why Dave Riggins chose Rockaway Beach
We wanted a beach house that was within 2 hours of Portland where we live and it is this is almost exactly 100 miles and 2 hours from us. A builder friend of mine built it these units and kept the best one for himself. He offered it to us to use several years ago to use and fell in love with it and told him if he ever decides to sell, call us. 2 years later, it was ours.
What makes this Townhome unique
Best Ocean and Beach views. Side Yard with fire pit and seating. Useable garage. Creek that flows directly past the side yard right onto the beach. Hoses front and rear to wash off sand.

Location could not have been better. The beds were comfortable the kitchen was great, we had thanksgiving here and it was perfect. The beach was literally across the street. We would definitely come back.
Fun for the whole family
We had plenty of room for two families and just across the street to the beach
Location and amenities = perfect place to relax
We had a wonderful stay at Rockaway Beach in this very well appointed condo. The furnishing and decor were comfortable, and at times, whimsical. We loved it! The view of the ocean and beach from the 2nd and 3rd floors was stunning, and we enjoyed watching the mists roll-in. An additional treat was the steam train (touring train) traveling past during the day.
The kitchen was very well appointed and we enjoyed cooking together while we were there. Our only complaints, if you can even call them that, were that the cabinet with the wine glasses was oddly placed, and most of the electrical appliances and lamps were unplugged upon arrival and departure.
Highly recommend this unit! We'll definitely be back again!
Thank you for your kind words. As for the appliances, we unplug them just to be safe when we are not there. The cabinet with the wine glasses is poorly placed but was like that when we bought it. I wish I could change it. Anyhow, I'm glad you enjoyed your time and thank you
Beautiful Vacation Home!
We loved our stay here!! We had six adults and an infant and it was perfect. The home is beautifully decorated and has very up-to-date appliances and amenities. It is such a cute place!! The bunk room is downstairs through the garage, the next level has a beautiful kitchen and dining and living area and half-bath, and the top level has a master bedroom and bath as well as another room and bath and a washer and dryer. And each level has beautiful balconies that you can see the ocean from. The ocean is a super close walk and people driving will usually stop for you. Overall we loved the home and really don't have any complaints! Dave is great to work with too! We will definitely stay here again if we ever come back!!
Some things we did while we stayed here that we recommend doing: drive up to Cannon Beach and see Haystock Rock and the tide pools (early) and go to Mo's for lunch, go to the tide pools (early) a few minutes south at The Three Graces in Garibaldi, wild blackberries grow all over around here so definitely try some - they are so delicious, do a fire on the sand of the beach, go to Pronto Pup next door (only open Thursday through Sunday) - their corndogs are so good, look for sand dollars and beautiful seashells in the mornings on sandbars along the beach.
All of our party would highly recommend the house!!
Thank u so much for your kind words and we are happy you enjoyed your stay. We love our place but also love renting it out to people that appreciate it. We know most of us aren't able to take a lot of time off so the fact that you chose our home to vacation in and enjoyed it makes us feel great. Thanks again. DAVE and REIDUN
Beautiful home. Very close to the beach.
We will definitely return.
Perfect View with all the Amenities!!
Impeccabley decorated with all the amenities for your families' stay. The host has thought of everything to welcome you into this vacaction home!
Great view for sunsets, just right walk to the beach access and the historic railway was a nice surprise! The nostalgic steam train and whistle were a real crowd pleaser for our family of all ages. Just a short walk to Rockaway boardwalk, with its quaint shops and restaurants. If you're looking for seafood and a view, you can't go wrong with Pirates Cove! If take out is calling your name, the local takeout Pizza was delicious and hit the spot for a no fuss meal. Our Oregon vacation was perfect in every way, thank you for making the stay extra special!
SARAH, thank u so much for the kind words and we are very happy u enjoyed your stay. Again, thank you
Rockaway Beach is a small town with very little night life but an amazing beach. SOUTH OF ROCKAWAY BEACH: 5 miles south of Rockaway Beach is Garibaldi where you can go deep sea fishing. 10 miles south of Garibaldi is Tillamook (pop maybe 10K) with the famous Tillamook cheese factory that has daily tours and a large Fred Meyer one stop shopping store and a Safeway store as well. 20 miles south of Tillamook is Sand Lake where all the sand dunning people go to ride their quads or other dune vehicles. NORTH OF ROCKAWAY BEACH: 5 miles north of Rockaway Beach is Wheeler where you can rent boats and go crabbing or fishing. 5 miles north of Wheeler is Manzanita, a cool little town to shop in. 10 miles north of Manzanita is Cannon Beach, also a cool town to shop in. 10 miles north of Cannon Beach is Seaside, a very lively but busy town. 15 miles north of Seaside is Astoria, the furthest point north in Oregon on the coast.
