Lovely Home & Great Location

My family enjoyed a great week at this home! It was myself, husband, daughter and parents. The location was very convenient for morning walks to the neighborhood Starbucks and we were even able to walk to the CU Boulder campus to attend my daughter's college graduation. The home itself was very comfortable and cozy. We spent most of our time in the lovely, updated kitchen, the heart of any home. We found the beds comfortable and the upstairs bathrooms were updated and roomy. The home also has a well appointed living room and charming, covered front porch. Gretchen was hospitable and easy to work with, and made sure we had parking spots which made our stay so easy and convenient. The home is two story, which is common for Boulder, so you have to manage stairs to access the bedrooms which was ok for our group but may not work for elderly, toddlers or special need individuals. Our family was very pleased with the home location, the condition of the home and the care we received from Gretchen. If you are coming to Boulder for a school function, to sightsee, enjoy access to nearby Chautauqua Park and hikes, or just the charm of Boulder I would recommend this property and the easy to work with landlords. It worked out great for our daughter's graduation and we preferred the ambience of this home over a hotel for our special weekend.

Wonderful House & Wonderful People

Our family rented this house for the summer of 2016 - we had a wonderful, magical time. We made full use of the fantastic chef's kitchen, ate every night in the beautiful back yard, enjoyed relaxing on the porch watching our boys in the yard and retired each night to the comfortable bedrooms. The location was great for strolling-up to Chautauqua to enjoy the park, kids playground and restaurant or taking hikes up the mountain trails to the Flatirons and other beautiful venues. It was also very convenient for going into Central Boulder to spend time on the Pearl Street Mall, at the farmer's market, or otherwise. Lastly, Gretchen and Greg were wonderful landlords always willing to give advice or help in any way.

The fourth bedroom, if used by VRBO renters, is in the basement and has locked off doors to the rest of the basement. We have a legal apartment in the basement with a separate entrance. The tenants are relatively quiet and are seldom seen due to work and travels. Our tenants, when we have VRBO rentals, act as care-takers by bringing in the mail, mowing, shoveling snow and taking care of the yardwork. We do have a dog in our home and we take her with us when we rent out our home.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
