We wanted to let you know that unfortunately the HOA informed us (5/11/2017) that we have an issue with the balcony above us that needs repair. We are not sure when the repair will be completed but at this time guests cannot go out onto the balcony. You can certainly still enjoy the view. This condo accommodates 6, it is newly remodeled as of 7/14. Enjoy views of the Gulf, lake and grounds from the living room.
Conveniently located on the first floor yet the complex has 3 central elevators.
This condo conveniently has a washer and dryer inside the unit so you do not have to leave the condo to wash your clothes.
We sleeps 6 with a queen bed in the master (tv located in the master). We have a single bunk bed in the hall as we do not want kids falling from the top bunk. We have a futon, a day bed and a trundle bed that pulls out from under the day bed.
We have smart TV's in both the living room and bedroom so you can log into your favorite accounts and applications. Please log out upon exiting the condo.
We have a full kitchen for your cooking needs. We offer complementary start up coffee.

The Maravilla is close to all the fun and restaurants on the island. Our location is minutes away from many beach pocket parks.
This owner has the condo right next door and another upstairs, all similar in decor. Ask about any group special to rent all 3 for larger family vacations. Ask about a group rate in condo 132, 134 and 232 if available.
We offer corporate housing as well and snow birds travler rates in Fall and Winter.
The Maravilla is a wonderful complex that is close to everything but just far enough that it feels more private and less of the hustle and bustle we get toward the center of the island.
We have 3 pools (one heated for the winter months), a hot tub, BBQ pits on the grounds, workout room, and a first come first serve gazebo at the pool. Beautiful tropical landscaping and so much more. This condo is located the closest to the heated pool.
My owners own many condos at the Maravilla including a private condo they do not rent out because they love the complex so much.

We offer so much and all so close to everything exciting to do. We love our condos but honestly hope you are so tired that you just want to eat, sleep, and relax at our property.
3 pools on the grounds and again so close to all the island has to offer.
The facility was clean and ready for occupancy upon arrival and everything we expected in the condominium was available and functional.
We were close to the town center and to restaurants, shopping, and attractions.
The on property pools were very well maintained and easy to access.
Access to the Gulf and its activities was a challenge as one had to cross a very busy thoroughfare (Sea Wall Drive) to get to the beach.
I could easily have given this property as a 4 or 4+ rating had the owner made some upgrades to very uncomfortable and, in some cases, unuseable or unserviceable, furniture. In particular, the couches, sofas, and chairs were exceptionally uncomfortable. Some of the chairs could barely support an average person's weight and the patio furniture was particularly unacceptable.
In addition, the pans are in poor condition, making it a challenge to cook even the simplest of meals. Everything sticks to the pans.
Finally. while it is not the owner's responsibility, the fitness center is essentially non-functional. There are no free weights and no weight machines that are in good working order. The majority of the cardio machines are in need of attention/repair.
I would recommend this property to family/friends with reservation. If upgraded (furniture, etc), I would recommend it with enthusiasm.

We had great time staying in this condo. It was clean and well kept. Owner was very helpful and prompt in all our queries. The only minor issue was patio chairs , some of them were broken but didn't bother us since it was too humid to stay on patio. We will definitely go back !
The condo was very comfortable and my family enjoyed staying there. We liked the location, quiet and convenient.
This condo is a great place to stay on the island. The pools are fantastic and it is in walking distance to a putt-putt course, batting cages, go-cart track, and movie theater. All necessities were on hand and everything worked. The only minor issue was paying for a parking pass on top of the rental fees, but the condo is part of a complex and that is out of the owner's control. Hot shower, spacious balcony, comfy beds.

The condo was fine for what we needed, which was basically just a place to sleep and cook breakfast. All the essentials were provided (towels, enough coffee for a weekend, trash bags, etc) and the condo was in a great location (walking distance to putt putt and the Galveston fishing pier). However, I'm going to agree with one of the below reviewers that some of the furniture stability was extremely questionable. Several plastic chairs on the patio were cracked and the metal chair seats were coming detached. The barstools inside seemed very unstable too. That being said, inside in the kitchen/living area there is a futon and a daybed, so there was plenty of seating for 6+ people without needing to use the couple of stools. The beds all seemed comfortable and while we didn't use them, the pools in the complex looked very well kept. We'd stay here again because the price is pretty unbeatable for the area if you don't want to stay in a hotel, and the owner was accommodating to us when we booked last minute.
We really enjoyed the stay. Older complex but very well kept up with several nice pools and a big hot tub. Our condo was remodeled very well. Close to several different beach areas but still far enough away from town center to have some quiet. Only negative was having to pay $15 to park in sight but still had to park on sea wall 2 of the 3 days we were there since they sold more parking passes then they have spaces.
Would definetly go back! PS pay no attention to the review by Janice I. She was obviously expecting the Ritz Carlton.
We are close to the main attractions Galveston has to Moody Gardens.

VRBO/ HomeAway is a 3rd party company. You are not reserving this condo with their service as they just advertise and handle payments for our management company. All questions need to be directly sent to the property Manager. Email may result in a faster response during our busy Spring and Summer seasons.
