Welcome to condo 232 at the Maravilla Resort on the second floor. We also manage 231 if you would like a condo right across the hall.
This condo accommodates 6, it is newly constructed in 2014. Enjoy views of the Gulf, lake and grounds from the living room.
Conveniently located on the first floor yet the complex has 3 central elevators.
This condo conveniently has a washer and dryer inside the unit so you do not have to leave the condo to wash your clothes.
We sleeps 6 with a queen bed in the master (tv located in the master). We have a single bunk bed in the hall as we do not want kids falling from the top bunk. We have a futon, a day bed and a trundle bed that pulls out from under the day bed.
We have smart TV's in both the living room and bedroom so you can log into your favorite accounts and applications. Please log out upon exiting the condo.
We have a full kitchen for your cooking needs. We offer complementary start up coffee.

The Maravilla is close to all the fun and restaurants on the island. Our location is minutes away from many beach pocket parks.
This owner has the condo right next door and another upstairs, all similar in decor. Ask about any group special to rent all 3 for larger family vacations.
We offer corporate housing as well.
The Maravilla is a wonderful complex that is close to everything but just far enough that it feels more private and less of the hustle and bustle we get toward the center of the island.
We have 3 pools (one heated for the winter months), a hot tub, BBQ pits on the grounds, workout room, and a first come first serve gazebo at the pool. Beautiful tropical landscaping and so much more.
I would say everything about the condo interior is about average. It is a suitable place to stay for a weekend, especially when you spend most of your time out of the condo. The balcony was nice and the unit is located off the main strip, but close enough for easy access. I would definitely recommend happy hour at Nick's or Jimmy's on the Pier (which is walking distance from the condo). If you plan on doing any cooking in the condo, plan on bringing your own cookware. All cookware provided is thin and is not ideal for use on the electric stove top. The grounds of the condo complex are very well kept and the pools seemed nice (although we didn't use them). I would stay here again to spend downtime on the island.
The condo was clean and the kitchen was modern. A couple of the receptacles in the kitchen didn't work. When you turned the garbage disposal on, strangely, one of the overhead kitchen lights came on. The light above the shower only came on when it wanted to...not very often. The furnishings were very basic, more suited to spring breakers (very light duty, utilitarian). The condo could really use some blankets. There were NONE in the unit, either on the beds or otherwise. I get the feeling this condo is geared toward summer use and this cold windy rainy weekend, we were pretty chilly. The internet didn't work when we arrived, but we called the property manager and she sent someone over the next night to fix it. The location was fine and near enough to anywhere we wanted to go (by car...Seawall Blvd is a long stretch with lots of restaurants, stores and things to do. Nice beaches all up and down the sea wall, too. ) we would recommend this condo for someone who just wants a clean, quiet place to stay and who plans to be out and about a lot seeing historic Galveston. If you plan to stay in most of the time or are looking for luxury, you might want to check out other properties.
The condo was WONDERFUL! It was perfect size for our family of 4! It was close enough to everything to be convenient! We had a great view of the water! The pools are great and we enjoyed taking the kids to the pool when we had too much of the beach! There was a very quick response when we had a small issue! Cant wait to go back!
Loved this place! A great weekend getaway. The location was great and all the interior upgrades were so pretty. Will be back again!
We enjoyed the Maravilla Resort Condos.The condo was clean, beautifully furnished and comfortably slept 2 adults, 2 teens and 2 tweens. My favorite part was the views of the small pond next door and the Gulf of Mexico.Loved the fact that the condo had a keyless entry code so we didn't have to worry about keys or cards. We had an A/C that needed more freon, but property manager, Christina Stevens, was very attentive and had it fixed by lunch the next day. The 3 pools, corn hole and ping pong table kept our boys entertained while we were "home". The parking garage is a huge bonus as well as the night security guard. Maravilla has 3 very clean pet walking areas with dog clean-up bags provided. This is a friendly community with a combo of owners living in the complex and families renting units. The location was ideal in that it's a few minutes drive to everything but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the crowds and congestion. We would stay at Maravilla again!

Per our rental agreement we ONLY supply a start up amount of items like toilet paper, paper towel, and trash bags. You must bring what is needed for the duration of your stay. We do not provide toiletries such as shampoo and body soap.
VRBO/ HomeAway is a 3rd party company. You are not reserving this condo with their service as they just advertise and handle payments for our management company. All questions need to be directly sent to the property Manager. Email may result in a faster response during our busy Spring and Summer seasons.
