A great place to get away to

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The neighborhood and house have such an historic feel, but the house has been very nicely restored. The owners were very friendly and helpful. I would particularly recommend this for tourists without a car. There is much to do and see within walking distance. I came in on the train -- the station is just a few blocks away -- and rented a bike for the week. Access to The Loop, a hundred miles of bike trail encircling the city, is just a few blocks away. There are great restaurants nearby. El Charro, one of the top rated Mexican restaurants in the country, is just a block away. It's a must for anyone who likes Mexican food.

I would definitely stay here again. I can't imagine a better location for visiting Tucson.

Fabulous location and very comfortably appointed

  • 5 of 5

The location can't be beat. A short walk to some great restaurants and the trolley. Kristi greeted us upon arriving with an abundance of recommendations and information. We wanted to stay longer so we could take advantage of all the options. The layout of the bedrooms was rather quirky...but it worked fine for us. Everything was clean and well stocked. The kitchen was particularly well stocked We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

Great Location!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this renovated adobe home while visiting our son at University of Arizona. Easy walk to many great restaurants and shops. 5 minute drive to campus, or walk 5 or 6 blocks to catch streetcar. Plenty of room in the house, and great amenities. Owner was very responsive with answering questions or requests. Train traffic/noise nearby, but did not bother us. We would definitely stay again.

I want to come back!

  • 5 of 5

Thank you for sharing your home with us! We took a little "staycation" and felt like we were experiencing an authentic little piece of the old West (complete with original adobe walls)...all while enjoying the conveniences of a modern retreat. We especially appreciated the well-appointed kitchen (with a stove that is a chef's dream) and the comfy beds. We were looking for a quiet retreat and that's exactly what we got. Next time we'll be sure to do even more downtown, which is bustling with new development, restaurants, wine bars, art museums and galleries, a brand new streetcar and more. We won't even need a car. But, for us, this was a perfect place to get away from it all with friends, kick back and enjoy being transported back in time to the Old West (if the Old West had included an awesome huge hot tub in the back yard!). I hope we can come back soon!

This lovely historic home had everything we needed for our trip to Tucson. The home was well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. There was a spacious private yard with a spa, what a wonderful way to end our evenings. There were so many restaurants within walking distance and a streetcar that made getting around a breeze. I would recommend this property in a heartbeat!

Bisbeelover

What a great way to spend time in Tucson! The house suited all of our vacation needs with plenty of space, great a/c, and a very relaxing spa. Its location could not have been better, being right in the heart of downtown with the mountains still in sight! We lucked out and got to be part of the exciting introduction of Tucson's new streetcar! Riding it we met friendly people, toured part of the University of Arizona campus, enjoyed the beautiful art and poetry that adorn the various streetcar stops, and ate at several of the exquisite restaurants along the route. Hiking and shopping were also nearby. I give this house an enthusiastic 5 stars!
