Great little getaway
We absolutly loved our stay and would definitly come back. Everything was perfect. Beautiful area with lots to do. Really zero complaints. Perfect Cabin and excellent hosts.
Thank you for being wonderful guests, hope to see you next year!
Lovely location, nice deck with a gate to keep dogs confined. Very efficient use of a small space.
The location is great for easy exploring of the south Okanogan wine valley. It was clean and the kitchen is adequately stocked. The beds are comfortable and the linens are very nice. We had to use bed pillows under the two loveseat cushions to add much needed support and we brought in a deck chair for seating. The deck cushions are on the thin side. Our only serious concern was that the setting is on the owners' property, and either they or neighbors also have dogs who were sometimes loose and visited the deck area. They seemed friendly but if you have a territorial dog like one of ours, you won't feel comfortable unless your dog is confined on the deck with you. Since we never knew when their dogs were going to be loose, we felt the need to leash up even for the middle of the night outing. It would be nice to know when these other dogs are loose and when they are not. If you have dogs that are always friendly with others, this won't be a problem.
If you are looking for peace and quite, look no further. This cozy cottage was a great location for exploring the surrounding towns and wineries. The hosts checked in on us and made sure everything was ok, but gave us our privacy as well.
Excellent find in Kaleden
This is our second year. Will continue to come back beautiful setting, inside always so clean and welcoming. Owners take time to leave information about activities going on that may interest visitors and make themselves available for renter's any need.
Thank you so much for leaving the cottage so clean and tidy, we love having you here, hope to see you next year! Lorna
We truly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Its a quiet and private location about 20/30 minutes from penticton. The cottage has everything you need and was clean and spacious. The hosts are incredibly accommodating and super pleasant. Will definitely stay there again!
Wonderful cabin away from the city
My daughter and I stayed three nights in July. We really appreciated the quiet and the beauty of the location after spending our days exploring the Okanagan. Nice sized rooms, nice furnishings, well equipped kitchen - all we needed to bring was our food, everything was there to prepare it. There were a few mosquitoes (probably due to the nearby pond), so do bring insect repellent if you plan on sitting outside in the summer. But aside from that, our stay was just terrific and we hope to come back for another visit in the future. Very highly recommended!!
Our cottage is located very close to many wineries, the Okanagan Valley is famous for its wine. Osoyoos, Oliver, Ok Falls, Kaleden, Penticton, Naramata, Summerland and Peachland are all within 1 hours drive from our place, each location has its own wineries. We are very close to Skaha Lake which has several beaches and the KVR trail for biking and walking. Hiking trails off the property and at White Lake Observatory, all areas are dog friendly, off leash.
