Great Location!!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed here with our three young kids over 4th of July weekend. We had the best time! The location couldn't have been better! We walked everywhere and floated the river a ton since its just steps from the house. The house was charming and newly redone. The rooms were cozy and fresh. The back bedroom had a trundle bed which was a hit for our kids. The back patio and front porch were definitely used to enjoy the weather. We had a great visit and we will be looking to book this house again!

Great Location But Needs Some TLC

  • 2 of 5

This sweet little house has the potential to be a fantastic place. The location is terrific - just two blocks from the park and a quick walk into downtown Bend with all it has to offer. Unfortunately the house itself has creepy beds with tired linens. The lighting is terrible giving the rooms a dingy grey feeling.

We have written in length to the management team about what they should consider doing and were quite kind about doing so. They elected to not even respond. I would think twice about renting this place unless you can verify the bed situation at least.

We have rented many VRBO's over the years and this one is far from a ten except the shower! It was great BUT the tub didn't drain well. Sorry to leave a negative review but others need to know.

The Bend House!

  • 5 of 5

I stayed here with 3 friends, plenty of room. Very clean and comfortable. The weather was amazing so we didn't spend a lot of time at the house, but did get to enjoy time in the big backyard. I would highly recommend this house to a family or group of friends. The location is perfect, within walking distance to a dozen restaurants and bars. And within biking distance to everything in Bend. It's a block away from the Bend river trail! Can't go wrong with this house, I'll definitely be coming back.

Truly the Heart of Bend

  • 5 of 5

This 3-bedroom home turned out to be the perfect base for our family for the 4th of July week in Bend. My wife and I were very comfortable with just the two of us and two kids. Even when another couple with their baby joined us for a few nights we all slept comfortably in this great cottage. The location is as central as you could ever ask for - across the street from the river, Galveston, Drake Park and a 5 to 10 min walk to Downtown or Old Mill. We were able to walk to all the 4th of July festivities and to dinner every night. We also brought our bikes along, stored them in the locking shed in the backyard, and pulled them out to ride the river trail! I should also mention the backyard is oversize for this location and provides a nice quiet place to relax and BBQ or let small kids run free.

The house was spacious and well-equipped for making meals at home and storing our gear. Furnishings are all new and everything was in great condition.

We can't wait to come back!

Amazing Location

  • 5 of 5

We were one of the first guests at this new vacation cottage and spent a week in early June visiting my sister in Bend. The house is a nicely remodeled old mill home probably built in the early 1900’s. The house was very clean and comfortably furnished and perfectly located near all the fun neighborhoods. It was a one block walk to Drake Park and just a couple blocks to Galveston. We also were able to walk along the river to the Old Mill district or through Drake Park to downtown shops and galleries. Our car was pretty much parked unless we drove up to the Lakes for hiking. The house has a wonderful front deck and big, fenced back yard. I think it would be great for a family with kids too. Floating the river would be a block from your door. The kitchen has all the basic necessities for cooking although we ended up eating out quite often. Not hard when you can walk to 10 Barrel, the Food Carts and Jackson’s Corner! We will be back again next year!
