This little piece of Paradise is truly worth the visit!!
It was love at first sight when I came to view this property. I knew I had found my dream come true place in Nova Scotia. The chance to live by the ocean was what I had dreamed about. I love the fresh ocean air, and in all my years of living here, I have never tired of waking up to the beautiful view, the sound of the seagulls, and watching the lobster boats coming and going from the wharf near me.
Great host, clean cottage and wonderful weather made our stay a memorable one.
Wendy's rental was absolutely perfect! What a wonderful sweet host she was and WOW what a view of the water. The weather was great and we had a blast checking out Hubbards and the surrounding little fishing towns.
The house was cute as it could be and well maintained.
Wendy was great, I can't give her enough compliments.
I would and have already recommended this property to friends and family
There was a great lobster restaraunt nearby called Ryers and Ryers Lobster.
Overall TOP NOTCH stay!!!!!!!!
Fish 'N Shells was the perfect spot for enjoying a restful vacation. Two days was not long enough! We enjoyed the quaint space with a fantastic view looking out on the water and fishing boats of many colors. Wendy was a wonderful host and added to the joy of our stay. We look forward to staying again!
Have you ever thought you might want to live in a tiny house? Here's your chance to try it out. This place is more or less a tiny house (one room, plus a bathroom and small kitchen with full sized appliances) on the owner's property on the water in Mill Cove, Nova Scotia. Wendy was very welcoming. Locals were also nice.
The place is in a very small community about 45 minutes from Halifax, so an easy drive for restaurants and everything a bigger city offers, but also provides the tranquility of a small town where people let you have your space. We trekked all over Nova Scotia from this location.
The price was definitely fair for the small size. Downside was a bed that was really firm. Definitely would recommend adding some sort of pillow top addition to that. Otherwise, really enjoyed our stay.
Hubbards has a Tourist Information Center with pamphlets outlining too many attractions and events within the area to mention.
