Great central location...easy drive into Ocean City, Bethany, and Rehoboth!

Gorgeous, custom home now renting for 2017-2018! Mini-weeks/long weekend getaways are available off-season - will reply same day to all inquiries! This property is located in Salt Meadows - this Bayside community is walking distance to the ocean and beach. Guests use a private community boardwalk located just across Rte. 1 to access the beautiful, uncrowded beach. Community has a walking trail leading to the bay beach, with a lovely screened-in picnic pavilion and fishing pier, and community has a great outdoor pool with bathrooms.

This beautiful, fully-custom and spacious end-unit town home is luxurious and has lovely beach decor, offering water views all around. It offers ground level parking in the 2 car garage, 5 bedrooms, a den with queen sleeper sofa, a living room with fireplace and queen sleeper sofa, 4 bathrooms, a fully equipped custom kitchen with stainless steel appliances, 6 decks, and a custom sea-themed elevator! Bedroom 5 is a great 'kids' room and has TWO twin bunk beds (4 twins total). Master bedroom on top floor is adjacent to Bedroom 5 and has master bath, a fireplace and custom closets. This home offers an excellent set-up for families with children...the top level has custom french doors separating it from lower levels, and when doors are closed the top floor is very quiet! Nicely accommodates little ones going to bed while grown ups have fun on main living level.

The floor plan was customized for multi-family entertaining. We feature 2 separate laundry areas (2 washers, 2 dryers) and on-demand hot water (multiple showers, dishes and laundry at the same time and everyone has hot water!). There is a 2nd refrigerator (beverage refrigerator) on the main living level as well. There is custom woodwork and tile throughout, window seats on every landing with cushions, and a tiled garage with plenty of drying racks for towels and swimsuits. Another great feature offered at this property: ceiling fans on all of the covered porches (4 covered porches, 2 top floor balconies, 6 total outdoor deck areas). The outdoor ceiling fans are delightful to have when the summer heat and bugs are interfering while you are relaxing or dining outdoors! There are board games and DVDs for our guests use as well, and a small play area for little ones in the garage.

Special Comments: We rent to guests 25 or older and their families. Non Smoking. Parking for four cars ONLY. Two cars in the garage, one vehicle directly in front of unit, and one assigned guest space - towing is enforced! Very sorry - but no pets. We use a local property management company (Coldwell Banker Bethany) which ensures our guests have 24-hour access for any needs they may have during their stay. Great house, almost perfect!

My family and I (9 adults, 3 children) traveled to Fenwick Island, DE the week of September 11-15, 2017. This rental was in great overall shape, with a large kitchen and dining area, plenty of rooms with double occupancy beds, very flexible sleeping arrangements. The entire property was clean and well furnished. Though you had to cross the main 4-lane highway to access the private boardwalk to the beach, it was an easy walk that did not feel dangerous. The private beach was large, and mostly empty (likely September being a contributing factor). It was an easy drive to Bethany Beach or to Ocean City, MD (opposite driving directions). The only reason why this review is not 5 stars is due to the hot water at the property. One of the advertised amenities was "hot water for everyone...multiple showers at the same time." This was true, when the hot water heater was working properly. We had to place three maintenance calls, and each time there was something different wrong, ultimately it needed a replacement part. The maintenance company was able to bring in the new part the next day, which sorted out the problem we had. Though most had cold showers on Monday, Tuesday, and some of the day Wednesday, Thursday and Friday everyone had hot water whenever they needed it. It's not the property owner's fault, things break. But it did put a slight damper on the mood of the house. Other than it was FANTASTIC! I would absolutely recommend this property for a stay on Fenwick Island. The rental company, Coldwell Banker, was excellent to work with and answered all of my questions and were there when we needed them through the hot water situation.

Excellent Vacation!

Went on vacation with my sister and her family, this home was the perfect choice ! The house was close to the beach and had its own pier on the bay side. Had fun crabbing on the pier and there was a beautiful screened in pavilion by the pier for you to watch the sunrise or sunset. Will definitely go back again and stay at this property..Loved it!
