Our family moved to Siesta Key from the suburbs of Chicago in 1971. We purchased Pin Oak so our parents could escape the winters and we could enjoy family time and this little island that we now called home. We quickly adapted to island life, setting up an office in Siesta Village and walking and swimming daily. Sarasota lured us off the island with wonderful restaurants, culture and shopping. Otherwise, we were happy to just be.
Why they chose this property
Sea Club 2 is a jewel on Siesta Key, charming and rare. It has managed to escape modernization while being lovingly maintained. The property has beautiful mature trees. The cottages and condos are spaced apart and the guests are able to enjoy some island tranquility. The common areas are tropical and fun, with a beautiful pool that sits on the edge of the Intercoastal Waterway and a tiki hut to get some relief from the sun. And right across the street is a private beach access and the Gulf of Mexico. Absolute nirvana!
