This is a private residence located within the trendy W Hotel located at 2201 Collins Ave. The W is a hotel you never have to leave. They house Wall Lounge, Mr. Chow, Dutch and their lobby bar Living Room which is always buzzing on the weekends.

Gorgeous views of the oceanfront from the balcony are the best feature. There was ample space indoors for the two of us for our ten day stay. The W Hotel is a very nice facility, nice amenities, excellent beach access, great meals at Mr Chow’s. There is some street noise so we had to keep windows closed, drapes drawn at night for sleeping. BUT, when we found the living area tv broken and immediately notified the rental company, we received only promises that it would be repaired/replaced. (There is a tv in the bedroom, but watching from bed is not our style.) We didn’t like that we’d sent full payment by wire transfer 3 mos. before our stay began, so had no financial leverage. Only because we persisted in requesting remuneration, we have finally received a $225 check from the company today, 10 days after our return.

While we are very happy to hear that you had a nice time staying with us and that you enjoyed the unit and facilities, we are disheartened to learn that you were unhappy with the amount of time it took for us to get the check over to you. We have been in the luxury rental industry for the better part of a decade now, and you can fully confide that we were going to reimburse you for your troubles with the television from the first time that you requested it.
We would never try to hold onto someone else's money when something did not go according to the traveller's plans, such as in your case. I believe that the length of time it took for you to get the reimbursement stemmed from the fact that we still needed to inspect the unit after your departure, as is our policy for all guest departures before we are able to issue any refunds of security deposits or otherwise. This usually takes about 48 hours to complete--once this has been done, our accountant must reconcile the funds and the check is cut. This can take another 48 hours.
Although you received the check 10 days after, one must take into account the transit time to receive the check in the mail. When you look at it this way, it becomes clear that we fulfill our due diligence in as timely a manner as possible. We apologize that the time it took to receive the funds was not to your full satisfaction--please be aware that we moved as quickly as possible.

Loved My Stay!
This was my first trip to Miami and I was looking to get something luxurious without going over my budget (I was travelling with my husband and kids). The rental I was set up with was everything I wanted and more. I stayed well within my budget and the apartment was perfect with a kitchen and private bedrooms. Will definitely be returning in the future!
Spacious suite in the W Hotel in South Beach. We had an wonderful time. Excellent restaurants in the hotel, great pool. The property management staff were very attentive.
We are already starting to make plans to come back.
