3 Bedroom, 2 bathroom house with two living areas and very private backyard
This bright, cheery cottage, built in 1940, has been well cared for through the years and it shows! It has all the original Art Deco hardware and great hardwood floors. The interior has been recently updated with new paint throughout and carpet in the basement. We recently opened up the kitchen to the dining room and added bar seating as well as new counter tops, back splash and lighting. Walk in the front door of this cozy cottage and you are in the living room with the dining and kitchen off to the left. Through a small hallway you will find the three bedrooms and a centrally located full bathroom. The living room has a seating area with new furniture and a 40” flat screen TV with 240 channels of cable as well as Netflix Instant Service. As for the bedrooms, the first bedroom has a queen bed with a new foam mattress. The second bedroom has a queen bed (brand new mattress) and also a crib in case you are traveling with children. We also provide a Pack N Play so a child could sleep in a different room if necessary. The third bedroom has a set of twin bunk beds. Downstairs you will find a spacious laundry room and a family room with a 40” flat screen TV (same cable and Netflix) as well and a pull-out (queen) sofa bed. This room has a small 3/4 bathroom attached to it as well. We have cabinets full of toys for the kids, books and DVDs for kids of all ages. We provide a high chair, kids' table, kids' utensils/cups and even a circus tent! The house has central air conditioning - no swamp cooler! Walk out back into the fully landscaped and very shady, private and fully fenced back yard. Grill out back with your group on our gas grill and enjoy a fire in the fire pit. If you'd like to walk to dinner or out for a drink it takes about 15 minutes (11 blocks) to be at 5th and Main. If you are in town for an event at CMU or Stocker Stadium, leave the car behind! You can walk eight blocks north and be on campus or a walk of three blocks will take you to Lincoln Park which has a great playground and outdoor public pool/slide (and golf course!). Whether you are in town to recreate, visit family or tour the local wineries, this cute little cottage in a central location will not disappoint.

Why Amy Lentz chose Grand Junction
We loved this home from the moment we walked in. It is well built, has a great floor plan and is so close to Lincoln Park. With a very private shady backyard, fire pit and loads of character - we could not pass it up!

Perfect Cottage in Downtown GJ
We had a wonderful stay here. We were staying for a bachelorette weekend and we participated in the Barrel Into Spring event at all the surrounding wineries. The house and decor was updated and really nice. There was a plumbing issue with the downstairs shower leaking, but it was taken care of right away. The hosts and house manager were quick to respond and very kind! We will definitely be back! Thank you!
Melissa, Thanks for the great review! The plumbing issue has been resolved! Thank you for being so kind! Plumbing issues are not that fun!
So comfortable and charming! Super clean! Worked great as our family home base! Loved it!
This property is managed very professionally. It is super clean, and it made our stay in Grand Junction amazing. It is convenient to many things, Colorado Natnl Monument, golfing, parks, and only 1.5 hours to Moab and Arches Natnal Park. The fully stocked kitchen made it feel like home. A stop at the close by grocery store and we had everything! The cozy and charming decorating took this property over the top! Thanks so much for making our vacation perfect! Mike and Lisa
