This house has undergone a major transformation in 2014, and in 2015 we've refreshed the kitchen with all new counters, tile backspalsh, etc! The home is in a waterfront neighborhood right off the Shell Knob bridge, with a gentle walk down to waters edge, just 2 minutes from the public boat ramp, and minutes away from both Campbell Point and King River marinas. This property has completed a remodel with ALL new carpet, paint, furniture, housewares, and linens. The upstairs features 3 bedrooms: Bedroom 1 is a Master with King Bed (new pillow top mattress), High-Def flat panel TV, and attached bathroom; Bedroom 2 is also a King bed with new pillow top mattress, and High Def flat panel TV, and Bedroom 3 has 2 bunk beds for the kids. There is also a second bathroom with shower. The dining room has a 6-seat dining room set, and the living room has a 40 inch flat panel TV with Blu Ray DVD player. Just outside from the spacious kitchen and massive pantry is a 500 sq foot deck with table seating for 6 and a new grill, and a large yard for the kids to run around and play. The downstairs features another bathroom with shower, and a media room/den with another large flat panel TV, DVD player, and a large sofa (with sleeper) and loveseat to enjoy a good movie with family or friends. The den also has a daybed with trundle, and a 4-seat hi-top game table, with shelves of board games to keep everyone busy for hours! There is also a large laundry room with full size washer and dryer. Overall this home offers plenty of room to spread out and relax after a good day at the lake! Prior to buying this home, we vacationed in this very same neighborhood for years, and loved the quiet, the atmosphere, and the hospitality Shell Knob is well-known for! Come try the peaceful evening stroll to the waters' edge, after a full day on the lake and a great burger on the grill for dinner!
We are a Colorado family, and fell in love with the Table Rock area many years ago. We started by vacationing in Branson, but then started investigating all around the lake, and quickly discovered Shell Knob. From there we never looked back - this side of the lake is far more relaxing, less congested, with all the amenities needed to have a great week within minutes of this home.

We wanted a place 'in town' - with restaurants, groceries, marinas, and even a hardware store, all very close by. We wanted to be close to the water - and this home is 2-3 blocks up the street from the shoreline, without need to walk through bug-infested forest to get there. We've vacationed in this neighborhood for years, and love it so much that we bought as soon as we found the right place!
There are few things more relaxing than having a great steak, burger, or bass grilled up on the deck, followed by a comfortable evening stroll down to the waters edge. We always get a kick out of the neighbors, some of whom load up their pets in the front basket of their golf cart, driving by and waving every evening. We do ask that our renters be respectful of the neighborhood - we have a mix of vacation renters and full time residents in the area; part of the charm is in the community surrounding this home!
We brought our family in for a small reunion and weren't sure what to expect, as we had rented other homes in the area for years and had grown used to the same places. What we found was quite nice - the house was terrific! All new carpet and furnishings, a huge deck, large backyard, and an easy drive to the King River Marina, where we slipped our boat. Since we came with 10 people we were pleased to see the kitchen was outfitted with plates/silverware for at least 12, and one day when it rained we were able to keep the kids busy with movies and games (there were games there we hadn't seen in years - it was a blast!). On the downside, we wish the home had a slip available, but we also learned that the Army Corps of Engineers has made it illegal to rent private slips in the lake. The owner's notebook was a nice touch - giving us lots of info about the area and the house. Looking forward to staying here next year!
