Great home away from home!

This place is great! Our family of four had plenty of room to spread out and the apartment had everything we needed. It was so convenient to have garage parking and a washer and dryer, plus the neighborhood has groceries, coffee, takeout and more within a few blocks. Powell's, VooDoo Donut and Providence Park are all walkable too (if you're in town when the Thorns are playing catch a game without hunting for parking - highly recommended!) The home is also well located near major highways, which made it easy to get to the Oregon coast and vineyards. There was a bit of noise from the light rail that runs along Lovejoy, and we could hear people coming and going from nearby restaurants at night. Nothing that couldn't easily be drowned out by closing the windows and turning on the AC, but be aware this is city living. Gayle was very helpful and responded quickly to a couple of (minor) issues we ran into. Overall, great stay and highly recommended!

Great Nob Hill Unit!

We had a fantastic stay at this unit. Everything was as described; the unit was clean, well appointed and very comfortable. The kitchen suited our needs to cook a few meals ourselves. Bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious for three adults and our four-legged travel companions were very excited to get to tag along. The neighborhood is full of great restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, and parks. The only note is that the available street parking for a second car requires payment every four hours, so if you're in town to explore on foot or via transit, only bring one car that can be stashed in the garage while out and about.

Great condo in a great location!

This was a great place to stay for our first visit to Portland. We were able to walk to many great breweries and restaurants, and uber’d to a couple that were further away. The area is loaded with character; met lots of nice people. Portland seems to have lots of homeless, but even they were very polite. The condo has a garage which meant we could park the car and leave it. Condo is well equipped, including TP, shower products, dishwasher soap and more. The unit was very clean and the beds were comfy, which we appreciated after having stayed in some other places with horrible beds. The host Gayle was away, but we were contacted by someone else, Cindy, just prior to our arrival, and she made sure all was well and ensured we knew how to contact her if we needed anything (which we didn’t). Definitely recommend - we will stay here again on our next trip. The only issue we had was that the heat was set very high when we arrived, so it was really warm when we arrived. But that was easily resolved by turning down the thermostat:-). Two thumbs up!

Walkable, Clean, & Bright

Had a great stay here over the weekend! We arrived in PDX during a summer heat wave and were thankful to walk into a cool, clean and bright condo upon arrival. The location is convenient and many things are walkable (Trader Joe's, Starbucks, Providence Park, Blue Star Donuts, Nob Hill restaurants and bars. The off street entrance makes it feel private, safe and self contained. Gayle was a very responsive, friendly and helpful host. She gave us instructions on how to get to the condo from the airport and was flexible with our check in time. The kitchen has basic amenities and the euro bed downstairs was comfortable. The streetcar can be heard at night but it isn't loud enough to be a bother. This is a great place for families and friends! Thanks to Gayle for good instructions and helpful responses.
