Perfect location!

  • 5 of 5

This condo/apartment had the perfect location for my husband and I to explore Greenville! So close to the city and great outdoors. Jason, was easy to contact and quick to respond. I left a piece of jewelry at the apartment and Jason was so helpful in returning it to me. Thank you!

This One Feels Like Home

  • 5 of 5

108B Central Ave. in Greenville SC is a jewel. Large one-bedroom, furnished in lovely mid-century style (OK, that is my favorite decor!). VERY comfortable, safe, and welcoming. Jason has considered all the details and they work so well together. Wonderful 1930's porcelain double kitchen sink atop red metal cabinets blend with modern black granite countertops and original tall white cabinets. Newer stove and fridge; microwave also mixes our conveniences with the period style. Full size washer and dryer; even has laundry soap.

The bedroom is large and comfortable, with a king size bed, antique bureau and table, plenty of light, and an updated bath with a great shower. Living room features a beautiful Eames couch which, contrary to some reviews, I found comfortable as well as beautiful. A big farm table holds the flat screen TV and also serves as a comfortable desk. The WiFi worked flawlessly, and the TV gets many of our favorite channels. Front porch for coffee, dining, or just watching the world go by in the lovely historic district. The kitchen-dining area is large and welcoming with gorgeous teak furnishings. Radio/CD player, everything you might need from board games, scissors and scotch tape to cooking and serving utensils.

Greenville downtown an easy walk away, with shops, restaurants, and CVS & TD Bank to make one feel at home. Lovely tree shaded sidewalks with benches for resting while you enjoy local fare like ice cream or a sweet tea.

Jason is a caring and easygoing host, immediately answering questions and knowledgeable of the area. Those are the Pros; I found no Cons in this lovely home. Don't hesitate to book this one; you will be right at home.

I thought the apartment was very cute and perfect for our trip!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time in Greenville and will definitely be going back. Downtown was very nice and there were plenty of great places to eat. The apartment was clean and well kept. We loved that it was so close to downtown and actually walked most of the time. Overall it was a delightful place to stay and we would love to come back next year.

Good choice for our week in Greenville

  • 4 of 5

I found this rental while searching for places to stay for a weeks visit to Greenville. The price was decent and the booking was very quick and easy. This property provided much more space to move around in than a hotel would have so that was the first plus. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, etc. The bedroom was large with a very comfortable king size bed. The lone bathroom is attached to the bedroom. The living room has a TV and Wi-Fi both of which worked well. The place really is within easy walking distance to downtown and that's nice. Since I want to be completely honest I have to note a couple things that were not to my liking. The couch and chairs in the living room were not very comfortable. There are two TV remotes, one to turn it on/off and change the volume, the other changes the channels. That's weird and one would think that a single remote could be found and easily programmed to control everything. Fortunately we didn't go there to watch TV all the time so this was a minimal issue. The place is pretty dark inside from shade trees which is understandable since it gets hot in Greenville and shade helps keep the place cooler. The registers for heating and cooling are located at baseboard level which is an inefficient design for cooling. Cold air sinks so it doesn't circulate properly throughout. I would have installed ceiling fans in the living room, bedroom and kitchen to aid in circulation and reduce my utility bills if it were my property. Still, the AC worked and we didn't suffer from the heat. There are very few wall mounted electrical outlets throughout the place, lots of extension cords in use so finding a place to charge any electrical devices you may bring is a challenge, especially for 3 prong charger plugs as the extension cords are only 2 prong. We managed to keep our cell phones and laptops charged for the entire week we spent there nonetheless. We stayed in the B unit (there are 4 units two street level, 2 below). The yard on our side was mostly dead leaves, the A side was lush and green, I don't know why the difference, but it didn't really bother me other than we sat on the porch a lot and had time to wonder about why there was a difference. Overall, I recommend staying here rather than in a hotel room if you are visiting Greenville for more than a couple days. The other renters raved about how responsive the owner Jason was, but we never needed to contact him for any problems.

We had a great stay in Greenville, the apartment is super clean and really cute! Weather was a bit cold and rainy so we took Uber into town but it's an easy walk if you desire.

We will plan to stay again on our next trip to G'Ville & will recommend to friends and family.
