Good choice for our week in Greenville

  • 4 of 5

I found this rental while searching for places to stay for a weeks visit to Greenville. The price was decent and the booking was very quick and easy. This property provided much more space to move around in than a hotel would have so that was the first plus. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, etc. The bedroom was large with a very comfortable king size bed. The lone bathroom is attached to the bedroom. The living room has a TV and Wi-Fi both of which worked well. The place really is within easy walking distance to downtown and that's nice. Since I want to be completely honest I have to note a couple things that were not to my liking. The couch and chairs in the living room were not very comfortable. There are two TV remotes, one to turn it on/off and change the volume, the other changes the channels. That's weird and one would think that a single remote could be found and easily programmed to control everything. Fortunately we didn't go there to watch TV all the time so this was a minimal issue. The place is pretty dark inside from shade trees which is understandable since it gets hot in Greenville and shade helps keep the place cooler. The registers for heating and cooling are located at baseboard level which is an inefficient design for cooling. Cold air sinks so it doesn't circulate properly throughout. I would have installed ceiling fans in the living room, bedroom and kitchen to aid in circulation and reduce my utility bills if it were my property. Still, the AC worked and we didn't suffer from the heat. There are very few wall mounted electrical outlets throughout the place, lots of extension cords in use so finding a place to charge any electrical devices you may bring is a challenge, especially for 3 prong charger plugs as the extension cords are only 2 prong. We managed to keep our cell phones and laptops charged for the entire week we spent there nonetheless. We stayed in the B unit (there are 4 units two street level, 2 below). The yard on our side was mostly dead leaves, the A side was lush and green, I don't know why the difference, but it didn't really bother me other than we sat on the porch a lot and had time to wonder about why there was a difference. Overall, I recommend staying here rather than in a hotel room if you are visiting Greenville for more than a couple days. The other renters raved about how responsive the owner Jason was, but we never needed to contact him for any problems.

Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay in Greenville, the apartment is super clean and really cute! Weather was a bit cold and rainy so we took Uber into town but it's an easy walk if you desire.

We will plan to stay again on our next trip to G'Ville & will recommend to friends and family.

The perfect little place!

  • 5 of 5

I recently had to travel to Greenville to complete an 8 week clinical rotation at a local hospital. I found this rental online and fell in love with it. Jason was incredibly easy to deal with, the neighbors were cool, and you couldn't ask for a better location! This little house was the perfect landing spot for my dog and I and we loved the funky decor inside. This is a great little spot for someone who wants to explore the city or take advantage of the mountain hiking close by. I can't speak highly enough about my time spent in the city and how perfect this little house was for my dog and I. I can't wait to come back and stay there again!!!

Home Away From Home

  • 5 of 5

Love this little place! The location is just perfect for exploring downtown Greenville and beyond. We use this as our base for many day hiking trips up to the mountains. And so fun to come back in the evenings and walk downtown for coffee, dinner, drinks,...

The neighborhood feels safe and it's fun exploring the historic district and all the housing transitions that are happening!!

Jason is very attentive to every detail! The apartment is super clean. Linens are refreshed for each renter which is important to us!!

This was our third year here and we already have it booked for 2018.

Perfect for an extended stay in downtown Greenville.

  • 5 of 5

The apartments puts you in a perfect location to explore Greenville - downtown is your new playground, being situated just a couple of blocks from Main St. We feel safe taking our dog for an evening walk to nearby MacPhearson Park or walking back from town after dinner.

There is off street parking outside the front door. We spend a lot of time sitting outside on the lovely covered patio, chatting to neighbors, planning our day or enjoying a cup of coffee.

This one bedroom apartment is larger than we expected and is perfect for longer stays. The bed is comfortable with quality linens and towels.

There are a couple of built in closets, a fresh bathroom, a very well appointed kitchen and many thoughtful touches that will enhance your stay.

Kathy, the cleaning lady does an excellent job keeping everything spotless and preparing the apartment for your stay. Jason the owner, is very responsive and helpful, and has been most accommodating with our prolonged stay.

We would definitely recommend this property to visitors looking for an extended stay in Greenville.

Great location, comfortable, clean, quiet, good value

  • 5 of 5

We had a great month staying at 108 Central Unit B and watching springtime arrive in Greenville. The apartment was well-equipped, clean, and comfortable. On warmer mornings, we enjoyed our coffee on the front porch while listening to the birds singing. We loved being able both to walk downtown and to explore the historic residential neighborhoods and open spaces nearby. Jason was readily available to answer any questions or address any concerns that came up(there weren't many!) The bed and bath linens were of high quality and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the eclectic style and spacious feeling to the apartment. If/when we return to Greenville, 108 Central Unit B would definitely be our first choice of a place to stay. Thanks, Jason!
