Giant balcony overlooking the yard and the lake. Tons of room to spread out with 5 Bedrooms & 4 Bathrooms...families can play together all day long and then have their own personal space at night. There are 3 sections to the property for a total of 3 kitchens, 3 living rooms, a washer & dryer, it's all fully stocked with linens and towels. The property has 2 Kings, 3 queens, 9 fulls, 2 twins, and 3 couch pull-outs. Ideal layout for big groups. Enjoy the 850 square foot deck that has seating for up to 20 people. Recently remodeled to connect the upper and lower levels. Have great family cookouts while you enjoy the views of the lake. Sandy area at the edge of the property for kids to play in, or play volleyball in the yard. Large raspberry patch on the property. Outdoor fire pit near the lake for some great story telling and smores. Launch your boat at the marina, and you can anchor it right near the property (depending on size of your boat, how far out you can anchor). Parking for 10+ cars. Lots of grassy areas. Lots of sand to play in. Come and enjoy Raspberry Point on the Lake! Winter months, the property sleeps 31. Wifi is not available, you're on vacation, unplug for a bit!

Not very well maintained for the value spent

Location and space were great for our family vacation, but many of the basic functions of the cabin were not well maintained. We had to vacuum and sweep right as we arrived. 1 main door stuck and needed to be locked so it wouldn't make so much noise opening. Furniture was very worn and not comfortable, but we still had a very enjoyable time with our family. Price was premium, but the accommodations were not.

Loved It!

We had a great time staying here! There was plenty of room for everyone and plenty of supplies in the kitchen. The only thing that we wished we had known before we came was that there is no beach access. The cabin property is right on the lake, however, there isn't really a beach there and the water can not be accessed due to a marsh area. We would just load everyone up and go to a public beach. All in all, we loved our stay here!

Needs TLC

Pros - Great location between marina and shops in Garden City. 5 minute walk for shakes or coffee. Plenty of beds and outdoor space. Tony was very responsive.

Cons - Not very clean inside or out on the deck. Earwigs in basement living and knats upstairs. No deck or patio lighting. Didn't feel private, as multiple "owners" stopped by to check locks, drop off propane, pick raspberries (for 4 hours one day), etc. Lake access from property was dicy - not optimum for boat owners to anchor and come ashore.

This is our 3rd time using VRBO and the most disappointing considering the price point and cleanliness - we had no issues with the other establishments. Guess 3rd time wasn't a charm. Oh, while we were there they put up a for sale sign.

Raspberry Point

We had a wonderful time at the home in Bear Lake. It was beautiful weather and the home was clean and roomy. We had lots of people and it was perfect for our group. We weren't able to get to the lake because of the mud, so we traveled to Rendezvous Beach a few miles away. It was a great family reunion. We visited with owner twice while we were there and he was very responsive to our needs. We would recommend the place to visitors in Bear Lake.

Had 17 in our group. Liked how much room you have and the separate building for grandma & grandpa to slip off to bed early and not be disturbed. We rent from VRBO in the US and outside of the US, not the cleanest we have stayed in (look under cabinet below kitchen sink, laundry room, etc.) The "fully equipped kitchen" was not what we had expected. Very small selection of dull knives (a couple of large and a couple of small). Had we BBQ'd steaks for 17 people it would have been a challenge to cut them up! Also, when we did BBQ, we had no idea where the BBQ utensils were (found them on the last day in small long drawer next to sink (it would have been nice if they were set out with the BBQ when owners know that renters are coming). Only one large frying pan (no lid), and a few small frying pans (one lid). When cooking for 17 people, the pan situation was sad. Had to run to the market to buy a 9 x 13 aluminum pan to cook breakfast casserole. Pretty standard size pan I would like to have seen on stock. Very antiquated griddle (which I called ahead of time to see if there was one). The control unit and cord get extremely HOT. A new griddle is badly needed. Blinds for the large kitchen window during the summer months would be nice. Kitchen gets very hot and the little tiny air conditioners did little to cool it down. Would like to have seen an iron and ironing board as well (pretty standard in rentals.) Master bedroom and guest bedroom got very hot (could really use an air conditioner or fans in both of these rooms.) Also, one of the rails on the deck is very loose. This place is in need of some tender loving care. Location is perfect for walking down town. There is no beach, just mud and tall grasses with tons of horseflies. We just loaded up the group each day and headed to Rendevous Beach. All in all, a very good time was had. Just wish the kitchen situation was up to standard.

Owner's Response: Greg, Thanks so much for your feedback. We have addressed your comments for the knives and pans in the kitchen, the bbq utensils and griddle. We also have increased our spraying for any kind of insects down by the lake. We are lakefront property, but most of the west side of the lake is not sandy beach, and we understand the confusion. We have brought soft beach sand in right up to the edge of our property. We have not had anyone else complain about the heat in the house, but have increased the ac units also. Beautiful. Sunrise view every morning over the lake. Tasteful cabin feel interior. Comfortable king in the master bedroom. Ample kitchen. Accomodating owner in Tony. Great fun and happy family winter memories.
