Idyllic Country Escape. Sleeping Loft with Full Sized Bed & Spring Fed Hot Tub!
After traveling and working in different parts of the world for many years, I am lucky to call Crooked Finger Farms my home. It is a life dream realized! And I am excited to be able to share such a special place with others who appreciate the natural beauty of this Historic Farmstead! The work is never ending but oh so rewarding... The fruits of my labor realized literally! A place where my horses can eat green grass and run free... A place for friends to gather, share a great pot of coffee or a good bottle of stories, play music and enjoy the gardens... Did I mention gardens? Looking forward to the warmer summer months this year... Excited about what my garden will produce...
Kristin purchased this Cabin in 2011

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend to get away from everything. It was absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend for anyone looking to disconnect and get away or for a romantic weekend. Just a short drive to Silver Falls / Silverton for some other adventures.
Mom and daughter trip
My daughter and I loved our stay on the farm. We petted the horses (including a baby!), walked farm trails, relaxed in the hammock, listened to owls at night, made friends with the dog and barn cat, soaked in the hot tub and more. The Bali House and historic barn are gems to behold! We’ll be back someday!
Beautiful converted greenhouse on a working farm
The space was gorgeous and the soaking tub was definitely appreciated during the cold days and nights! The driveway was challenging with the unusually high amount of snow for the time of year but Kristin was communicative about that beforehand. It was a little farther outside of town than I realized which only became an issue because I had car trouble. Lyft and uber are not possible from the location but likely they wouldn’t be part of the plan for most guests’ glamping getaway . Kristin provides wonderful amenities like food, espresso machine, tea, etc. Overall we had a great time!
It was unfortunate that this guest had car trouble. And was not clear or did not read the full description as to the location of the property. We are very careful to disclose that this property is not accessible via public transportation and does require a car.
We did make special efforts to let the guest know about the unseasonably cold and snow conditions and advised them that the driveway might not be accessible without 4 wheel drive. They assured me that they had chains if necessary... I was not aware that they did not have a relyable car.
It is unfortunate to receive a rating based on the circumstances...
As we go to extreme lengths to assure that our guests have an unforgettable experience... Unfortunately, we can not control the weather or breakdowns.
A Must Stay
Kristin was so wonderful to coordinate, very communicative and flexible. The Bali house is beautiful and with the space heaters provided totally doable in even the winter months. Kristin has obviously thought out the details of the space to make it a magical stay. Only things we wished we had were ear plugs for the wind storm and eye masks for the early morning light. Affectionate and adorable animals to say hello to in the morning and a cozy soaking tub for the evening, you can’t go wrong with a stay here!
Beautiful property & enchanting room!
We love everything about this green house and the property surrounding it, we had an amazing stay and the hosts were as accommodating as possible. We will definitely be back!
We are ideally located in the upper Willamette Valley about an hour from Portland and approximately 12 miles from the town of Silverton, OR. The area is a gardener's paradise and Silverton is home to the Oregon Gardens and the gateway to the world famous Silver Falls St. Park! There is great shopping, several grocery stores, and a delightful Saturday Farmer's Market. There are also several excellent restaurants. Be sure to check out the local 'Old-Time' movie theater!
The city of Portland, and the capital city of Salem are both nearby.
We also offer overnight accommodation for horses. Possible arrangements can be made for riding opportunities.
We are a short drive from endless outdoor activities that include wine tasting, hiking, mountain biking, bicycle riding, kayaking, swimming, skiing, horseback riding, shooting & fishing.
